  • LOVE IT! LINK IS THE KING! THE DRUMMER IS SO COOL 6 FUNKY TOO!

  • Fantastic recording, Link was a top bloke and the late great Charley Charles on drums, who was spotted on this broadcast by members of Loving Awareness who he later joined and they went on to become the Blockheads.

  • Beautiful Guitar Tone

  • drummer is amazing.

  • Has anyone got the tab for the opening riff that is played 3 /4 times throughout.... Please

  • Love this guy. Makes it all sounds so easy.

  • Best Link Wray video ever...

  • Why dont they make em like that any more my foot was tapping nonstop absolutely awesome the guy is ice cool.

  • He as only one lung and can still sing like that.... His guitar playing, and Charley Charles 0n the drums, it sure is as funky as hell! I can't stop moving when I hear this version on my laptop! Those were the days!

  • i think this is an ideal song for coming back home in taxi from bar being drunk at late night. classic.

    link wray is the man.

  • Classic. Better than the album version IMO.

  • This has been one of my favorite cuts by Link for over 36 years.

  • Wow - Is this ever good - !!!!!!! - Thanks so much .

    Great job man .

That's Charlie Charles on drums by the way - Ian Dury + The Blockheads !

  • i wish there was a download for this song

  • link Ray .Heaviest guitar in the 50s

  • the drummer from my band reckons its dennis davis i'm not sure but he played with bowie if it is him

  • @jesuscomplex Nah that ain't Dennis - very good guess for the style and time period but I've hung out with Dennis this man and Dennis look nothing like each other. Look at the Ian Dury and The Blockheads cover of "Laughter" and you will see Charlie Charles, the drummer here with Link's band.
