  • take a big DEEP breath of that, it's good for you.

  • This is retarded. That's not sodium hydroxide. Sodium hydroxide is a base, not an acid, and it won't react with aluminum.

  • @Libertarianist

    ever had a pickle?

  • @Libertarianist

    To be more direct

    2Al + 2NaOH + 2H2O => 2NaAlO2 + 3 H2

    H2 is the liberated gas

    NaAlO2 is a salt called alum, and is used in the flavoring of pickles.

    Technically thats the overall reaction and the steps of the reaction include the formation of a complex ion of [AlOH4]-1 which then resonates between water as reaches equalibram in the form of Al6(H2O) or something close to that with Na existing close to it in solution being an electrolyte.

    Far from basic chemistry without a pun

  • @vevenaneathna what about 34HOsuckmyfuckingdickloser7700jo

  • RIPLEY!!!

  • keweeellll

    dont know why your description says acid.... NaOH is a base fool

  • @vevenaneathna its BASIC CHEMISTRY!

  • @vevenaneathna i dont think 'fool' is such an insult these days...
