  • in the early 70s, tony orlando & dawn had a hit with this song, "candida."

  • ONE OF MY FAVORITE SONG..

  • I love this song. thanks narin.

  • I am really love all his songs I am so regreted for all people who had been killed during Pol Pot generation. Finally Pol Pot died like animal.

  • It's a classic three instrument sounds ..an influence of American music in the 50's and early 60's...whether or not it's orginal, I think Mr. Sinn Sisamouth made it unique to his style

thanks for the response. i thought of the Beatles b/c of the backgroung pic of those guys playing guitars. since ss's musically influenced by some of the Western artists, i just thought this particular song was one of them. i listen to the Beatles--although i don't recognize all their songs, and also b/c i've never heard of this song before, i thought the original might have been by the Beattles. it was just a thought--but thanks for the response.

  • I got Narin and thank you.:)

  • Hi Narin can you send me this song too.i love the beat...

  • Thanks Narin for uploading this song! Isn't there an original English version of this song? This song is so beautiful; sounds almost like one of the songs by the Beattle or some other Westerner artist that I know but can't quite remember it at this moment. This is not the original mv of the song, is it? Strangely I keep thinking of the Beattle when I see the backgroung picture of those guys playing their guitars. Sinn Sisamouth's voice sounds so beautiful--just like In Yeng's.

  • nautikavez1,

i'm 100% sure this samouth song aint from a beatles tune, as i've heard all of the beatles songs. i aint think it's from any western tune either. i believe this is a product of samouth or some cambodian song writer.

  • love it..

  • the still picture of the woman with a title, presumably of a song, written in khmer, the title says "pehl dell trov yoomm", not "oun sa-art nass". thus it's a misleadin' picture.

  • Sorry pkving, I thought this pic is nice and fit to the song. But you are right, this pic is a movie cover from khmer movie, Pel Dal Trov Youm.

  • narinkhmer buddy,

that's ok, no problemo. i understand. now i have 2 thank you 4 sharin' cambodian oldies music.
