Is the mp3 decoded in the microcontroller or is that done on a computer?

I assume the controller is for the display alone?

that's right, the KS0108 is a display controller only. the mp3 is decoded on a computer.

Hello ,i saw 1 project like that and i try to make 1 with the 3310 lcd from my old cell phone ,but it doesent work. can you tell me some link or some squeme that works with this display and the lcdhype
