  • EMD **

  • reminds me of the time i caught a CNW SD40-2, 1 or 2 bnsf H2 sd40-2s, and a soo line sd60 all on a general freight

  • Nice job, man! And to tell you the truth, even when SOO was still their own railroad, they sometimes had a black line like that drawn through their name. So trust me. That might not be a patch job at all.

  • Soo SD60s 6000-6020 went to CEFX/INRD in mid 2006. When did a Soo unit have a black line through it while still under Soo ownership? I've never heard of, or seen that.

  • @SD457500 The black line was a cheap way of showing that they were not SOO anymore. The SOO SD60 Diesels were used for power swapping with CN on the GTW line in Michigan in the two years before they were sent to CEFX and INRD.

  • Uh, if you don't like patch jobs, take a look at what Union Pacific did to the S.P. units. Or maybe you don't want to look. All I can say is one thing; BARF!

  • That were that EX-SOO SD60 went. Havent seen it in a while.

  • Awesome!!!!!!!!!!5*

  • Nice. It makes me sad to see 6001 like that...poor Soo! :( Great catch though!

  • Gotta love that 'new' paint scheme on th ex-Soo!

Just a silly black line through the name! Looks like those classy paint jobs they do on the former Union Pacific units! Great Video! 5*****

  • oh well, as close as i'll eer get

  • yeah I see CEFX 9395 and 9401 on the TPW like everyday go to Galesburg.

  • whoa!!!

  • interesting lease unit lashup! did you know the Oakways are going back to EMD at the end of this year?

  • yep, sad to see them go, hope the keep the same scheme...

  • me too! something introduced to the joint line in the 90's for the burlington northern ,then leased by BNSF from September of 95'- 2008! the joint will never be the same without those oakways!
