  • Why cant todays commercials be funny like this? So much more style back in the day thats all I have to say.

  • Used to see this all the time on TVland

  • Love Carol Wayne!

  • Wasn't that "what bus" girl the "mmmmm LOVE IT...." Girl from the show Love American Style?

  • The "what bus" girl is Carol Wayne.

  • The driving instructor is played by Jack Somack, who became one of the top character actors of the 1970's. He may be best know for his recurring role in "Barney Miller" as liquor store owner Mr Kotterman. He also appeared as Gandolph Fitch's attorney in "The Rockford Files".

I also recognize the "what bus" girl who also got roles on regular TV shows.

  • lol!

  • I can't remember the names but 2 of those students went on to become TV stars ..of a sort..the catatonic guy in glasses at :38.. and the " what bus? " girl

  • AMC had the best commercials.

  • what bus? lol

  • That's a funny and creative commercial!

  • The sense of humor in '70s ads is, IMO, different and better than that of today's commercials. Does anyone else agree who lived in the '70s?

  • lol, smart ad.

  • XD Aaaaaaaaah thats just classic humor!
