Read my rants below about the pill for endometriosis. It's used as a last resort before HYSTERECTOMY ! Hysterectomy is scary and life threatening and PERMANENT.

More on my comment below about the pill to treat endometriosis.....if it means stopping Planned Parenthoods abortions, I am willing to pay full price for my hormone therapy for my disease if it means STOPPING ABORTION. The babies are more important than money. We women shouldn't have to sacrifice babies to prevent our diseases and hormonal problems. A new organization for endometriosis and hormone problems seperate from Planned Parenthood's nazi abortion agenda would be appreciated.

This goes with my previous comment about BC for legitimate medical reasons (acne is not one). Non sexually active women take the pill for endometriosis. It can preserve the fertility of VIRGIN women who have endometriosis who are waiting to meet Mr. Right as opposed to repeated surgeries to clean out the scar tissue or hysterectomy. It's kind of like a gun in the hand of an innocent civilian OR a criminal.

I hate Planned Parenthood because of abortion and their promotion of illicit sex, but doctors do prescribe the pill for women with endometriosis to stop or slow the bleeding because scar tissue builds up on the organs outside of the uterus and has no way to escape. I am against Planned Parenthood, but insurance could cover medical uses of the pill for non-contraceptive reasons.

Insurance shouldn't pay for Viagra either. They shouldn't pay for expensive liver transplants and should have a dollar cap on payments for cancer care.
