There's this rythm game you can download for free called Frets on Fire, that involves using your keyboard like an air guitar.

You can download it, add your own music to it, quickly assemble a sequence of notes for it and then play something literally 500 times more enjoyable than this thing.

Maybe it's because Frets on Fire was made by a guy who liked rythm games, while Guitar Superstar was created by a guy who really needed to pay off his dealer.

What's funny is that this costs ~$70 and you get 10 songs no one's ever heard of. GH1/GH2 WITH the GH guitar is that same price for about 7x the songs AND they're popular/well-known for the most part. GH3 is ~$90-$100 WITH the GH guitar and you get over 70 songs.
