WoW Low vs Ultra

In all honesty, you don't need to play on ultra to get a good gaming experience in wow. I play on good, with some features set to the fair setting and a few others to high. I see quite a bit of detail, and the game is far from as dull / as low. But my computer doesn't lag like it would if I had it on ultra. I think people would be far better served with a video that explained how to get the video settings, instead of the differences in high vs low.

I play on a Gateway NV51B02h and its a shitty ass laptop and it plays on Good with 20-25 framerates and 20 average latency with bell internet lmfao :D

damn, it sucks i can play everything on ultra except for shadows, if i put on shadows it goes to 15-25 fps ( i play with shadows on good )

@MavTheChamp well i built a pc for like 500-600 dont really remember, but i didnt buy it from the store, i bought it from some guy who sells barebone systems for cheap and just got more ram and a 5770, i can run sc2 and wow on ultra, in cities i get over 40 fps maxed out, but idk about a raid and all thoose spells and shit.

kiddies you don't need a 1000 dollars pc, if anything all you need is a $500 pc + a $100-$200 video card, maybe a psu upgrade and SHAZAM! not only can you play wow on ultra with 60fps you can play every new pc game on high/ultra

i think low is better ,,, in pve or pvp you dont need 1000feet view distance ... so i go for low , without any lag :D

@Frejborg true. i played wow always on low settings but view distance maxed out on my old computer. performance stayed great but i could see much further away
