The longer he wears the black armor the more it kills him. Basically he gets his super natural strength when the armor melds cuts into his body and strengthens it .. something like Wolverine's adamantanium skeleton.

Yeah except Wolverine isnt a berserver, Gatsu has a huge ass sword and his armor kills him slowly instead of helping to keep him alive unlike wolvering.

Between a fight of the two...I dont know if wolverine would survive against gatsu if he went berserk.

O yea missed out that important point, Wolvie's adamantanium skeleton actually protects him, while Gatsu's kills him. Hmm just now in the manga, Gatsu is still at sea sailing towards some island, and he's heavily bandaged up due to his last battle where he used the armor. Damn and that was back in 2008 LOL, wish I could get my hands on the scans faster or read Japanese.
