  • Wow, Your reflexes to stop, engage the pump, and send water to the fire then shutting down and repeating is just fantastic.

  • Love a good cab-over truck! Awesome video! Stay safe!

  • how long were you guys out there?

  • THis makes me wanna be a firefighter!!

  • pierce is a brand of oshkosh... wouldn't know it unless u look on the oshkosh main site

  • Was this in the forest region south of WP?

  • holy crap what a mess!

  • ANY MORE FOOTAGE!?!?! LOL Best video I have seen in a while

  • @afnbyzcp Yes posting it now, more footage from the same fire.

  • @WestPlainsFD Thanks! I Love your footage!

  • Man you gave that old Ford a work out! Great job! I also love how you had to hit the tank gauge to get it to work. Also liked the little woohoo's in there every now and then:)

  • i would imagine you have more footage from this fire? If so, I would LOVE to see it posted.

  • what started this fire?

  • @firefighter31256 Unknown origin

  • 421, 431, and 727, YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!

Btw I miss working with u guys!!

Awsome job well done just like the old days...........

  • Man that was a great job! You three worked great together! Smooth, quick and aggressive. How big and did you guys lose any residences?

  • we have an old pumper thats similar to urs..love the hitting the tank guage to it lights up..lol nice

  • Boy, that engine is an old warrior. I drove a C 900 series Howe pumper for 15 years. Ours was a 534 gas engine manual transmission rig. The good news was it was fairly quick on the level. The bad news is that our department was in a valley with hills on 3 sides. I enjoyed how you were hitting the fire on the run. Obviously the way you were repositioning the truck so quickly this wasn't your first dance. Great video.

  • @westplainsfd could you leave the pump going while you move up more or does it effect something great video bad brush fire we just had one I'm florida In brevard county we sent two other counties up there Osceola and st cloud

  • @theatomicfart1001 No, we dont currently have any apparatus with the pump n roll feature, when you are pumping you cannot move the truck until it is disengaged.

  • Pump and roll would sure be nice eh?

  • @ProudVolunteer19 Yes it would! Maybe some day.

  • @WestPlainsFD yMaybe you could hook up a small 15 horsepower motor that feeds out of the tank into the booster real? My dept. only uses pump and roll on brush fires and it doesnt usually take a whole lot of pressure and horsepower. Keep up the good work and videos

  • @WestPlainsFD an arff might actually make a good brush/wildland truck, if you put racks on it for the rakes...

  • @ProudVolunteer19 We got pump pump and roll
