we had a chrysler pacifca and as soon as hit 100,000 miles the gas sensor was defective and the tranny was stuck in second gear and we bought it new and it was a 2005 chrysler pacifica touring W/0 AWD and no DVD 3.5L

Ok so like when i put it in park it makes a loud bumping sound like im hitting somthing. And then in the winter like now it acts like it doesnt want to start. But it gets pretty annoying but overall its a ok car it has great gas mileage though lol

You can see the inheritance from the S-class Mercedes-Benz in the gauges with the hidden needle ends. Too bad the partnership failed.

i would get rid of this car...we had an 07 and the over head cams went out just because of a pin and cost about 3 thousand to fix it....

Speaking of cams....does the Pacifica have some sort of alternative cam profile, that the ECU switches to once you hit a certain RPM?

Reason I ask i because on the Touring model in this vid....if I floor it, the engine tone gets deeper and it pulls harder once it hits like 5800 RPM.

You can feel it kick it in 1st gear, but it hits redline right after, and drops into the next gear - so you don't get to feel it that much. But, if you have a little open road ahead of your on the freeway...and you floor it while you're already doing about 65mph, you can definitely feel/hear what I am talking about.

I'm not sure if this applies to all engines, but the engine I am talking about is the engine in the 2005 Touring.

i got a 2006 Touring Inferno Red with Obsidian Black Essence Scotch Gaurd Cloth interior with 26,340 miles on the dash i love it i all i did was superchip it and have a flowmaster 40 series put on thats all

That's 14k. It is actually very under-driven. Its an 05 that was purchased brand new in the fall of 2005.
