Hello! I was wondering if I have to discharge the monitor if I wanted to completely remove it. The 60-in-1 board im getting supports PC monitors so I was wondering if I had to discharge. Thanks
Hi I just replaced my monitor on my arcade and the new monitor has 2 sync wires but my jamma connection only has one, what do i do, i tried hooking both of the syncs to the one that comes from my arcade but the monitor is scrolling crazy can u help me
@mexicanninj It sounds like you did everything correctly as far as the sync wiring is concerned. You might have hold adjustment issues if scrolling is your only problem. In part 2 of this video, we show some different screens that can help you tell the difference between a sync problem and a hold problem. If you adjust the hold and you still can't get it to stop scrolling, you might upload a video of the issue and send the link to us. Thank for your question and good luck with your repair.
@jrfps We usually use 4 carriage bolts with nuts to hold in the monitor. There are typically two boards that support the monitor that these bolts go through to hold the monitor frame to the cabinet. You can get these parts at your local hardware store.
We have also featured your question on episode 20 of our Q&A podcast. Please listen to it for more of our thoughts on your question. Thanks for your question and good luck with your future repairs.
