Some are bound to be sceptical I was!

But I felt it important enough to share the change my wife experienced and still does from LP.

I had nothing to gain from doing this video other than the fact that I thought I'd be helping others in the same boat.

The only profit I made from sick people was getting my wife back!!

I find the best things for M.E. are massage with reiki (lavender essential oils), masses of rest, no stress, a little exercise, a little brain stimulation (study), low dose (10 mg to start) Amitrip. (sorry, yes, it's essential, even if you take for part of the week to start with), a good natural diet, Acidophilus Plus (probiotic), a constant external temperature, some herbs ea eve to assist muscle relaxation & stage 4 sleep, nature.

The LP is nothing new. It's just the old brainwashing technique of old.  Call it NLP, hypnosis, CBT, spiritual healing or You Will Be Well If You Believe. It might well improve things by distraction and to make better use of your energy levels but this would only work long term for CFS NOT ME.

We poor, the weak and suffering in massive pain, courageously doing our best to overcome paralysis each and every day are waiting for it to be available on the NHS :-). No hurry?

In the meantime, we can take hold of the concept and do our best, all by ourselves (except for Christ of course) as usual. :-s

We could say that it's safe when it becomes available, but of course this gvmnt cares about nothing other than its own greedy pockets. Sigh.

@FreeBritain1 hi i read about that,curiously though she was still doing the "exercises" at the time of the article - why? if she was cured...not only that but to say anything other than its working or it has worked, would cancel its limited affect, so you cannot trust what anyone who does it, says. positive spin and truth have no relationship whatsoever.

Phil Parker's tactics create worrying levels of compliance in LP clients; his In-Group/Out-Group tactics are cultish, but the LP In-Group can't see that.

Autonomic nervous system dysfunction is incurable, and up to 27% of ME patients have it. Look it up before speaking out of turn. You're a Rugby player not a medic.

Lightning is NLP/Eriksonian/Hypnosis. It can be dangerous for Canadian Definition organic ME; so many have relapsed. Parkers heavy marketing with sleight of word and mind, is obvious to veterans of mind methods. The "Are you ready" line is an old selling 'hook' used to sell personal growth courses. Parker also exploits altered states and hypnotic suggestion, creating compliance, with subtle manipulation of peer pressure. Parker dismisses all informed criticism of his methods and marketing.

Good luck Vincent. I don't know a lot about Mickel Therapy. I did the Lightning Process and it worked wonderfully for me. I also know quite a few other people who have done it and are now well and working and living a normal life. Don't be brought down by the nonsense written on here by people who are against the LP and against any solution to their illness. They seem pretty happy to stay stuck in their condition

luminescentfeeling - you appear to have pretty bad anger issues! And to insult someone who has been thru a traumatic experience with a neurological illness is unacceptable and unforgivable. The LP isn't about altering the way you think. The Lightning Process considers ME to be a multi system illness which affects your hormones, endocrine system and immune system. The kind of comments you make insult a great number of people who have clawed their way back to full health thanks to the LP.

What rubbish you lot speak. I was diagnosed with full ME - with endocrine, immunological and neurological malfunction. I confined to a wheelchair for years and it's incredibly hurtful to read from others below that i did'nt 'have proper M.E' because i got well by the Lightning Process. I DID have M.E - had it for 15 years, and i got better thanks to the Lightning Process. It works. It's not a psychological intervention. It works on the autonomic nervous system. It's not psycho babble.

Since when does knowledgable opinion equate to being nasty? Nobody's being nasty here. It's a case of trying to educate people who very clearly green when it come to serious ME issues. I doubt if Austin's in receipt of the historical aspect of this subject or indeed the very dodgy criterias used to 'diagnose' someone with ME.

I reiterate - if someone is cured of 'ME' via the Lightening Process then they didn't properly defined neurological, immune, endocrine ME.

if the lightning process is as effective as they claim then how come it is not practised through the NHS? why are so many patients that are suffering from CFS/ME like myself still suffering? Why hasnt AYME or action for ME or any other charity adopted this treatment program also. why is the fee so large? are they not charitable at all? if i had a so called cure technique then i would not charge. have a heart be charitable

The NHS, as an institution, doesn't give a sh*t about people like you and me.

(You can, however, have NLP, hypnotherapy and osteopathy on the NHS in places)

The LP isn't a "cure technique".

It would be lovely to get trained for free, I don't think many people can afford to spend 3 days + overtime working with people for nothing.

@ukeft Hi! I am so interested in this as I did the lightning process. at first it seemed to help but now 2 years later I am worse again. Did it actually work for you? I feel so bad and guilty that it hasnt helped for me, as my parents paid and I feel like did I do it wrong!  Thanx jo xxx
