HOW TO MOUNT THE .TOAST FILE

1) PRESS CMD+SPACE AND WRITE IN THE SPOTLIGHT "DISK UTILITY" AND OPEN IT

2) PUT THE TOAST FILE IN THE DISK UTILITY AND PRESS THE "OPEN" BUTTON THAT IS IN THE TOP.

3) AFTER CREATE THE NEW FILE, PRESS "+ NEW IMAGE" BUTTON THAT IS IN THE TOP, IT SHOULD CREATE YOU A .DMG FILE

4) OPEN THE .DMG FILE AND DRAG IT INTO THE APPLICATIONS FOLDER

THATS IT, ENJOY YOUR GAME MATES! (THUMPS UP IF IT WORKS)

Ok So anyone stuck after they have downloaded here is how I managed it and it is working fine.

1. Use Unrarx to unzip the first .rar file.

2. There will appear a file named "Age Of Empires 3.0.toast"

3.Replace .toast with .dmg

4. Confirm this change

5.Double click the .dmg file and it should open the folder

6. Place the Application Icon in your applications folder and let it copy.

@MGabes19 google says is to open with, disk utility. in utility up the top somewhere it says mount do that, then double click the mounted one. move it to applications and open it there... once done double click on the game and it will ask you to move it to your desktop. only move the game onto the desktop and double click to enter :) hope this helps everyone! please thumbs up so everyone else can see.

@Hiruzman Yeah actually I did after looking up some solutions online. What worked for me was double clicking the first .rar file and letting them all unzip or convert or whatever and then you get a file that says .toast, which you change to .dmg if I remember correctly. I'm on my work computer now, so I can't double check it. Then you open the .dmg file and it appears in your window like a CD. You then move the file in that window to your applications folder, then "eject" the CD.

I got the game started and worked great but now when i get on all the text is oversized. so much so that some of the dialogue doesn't fit in the boxes and i can hardly see my resources count. i looked through all the settings on the game and restored them to default but nothing has worked so far.
