"I delight... in insults" Man, that speaks volumes to ME. I can sure learn to calm down when a customer service representative on the phone is rude, belittling, or otherwise proves s/he doesn't need to be taking care of customers. Kudos to your eager willingness to have your flaws challenged. I can't say much about "self promotion", especially as an aspiring actress. Lol But I DO strive to live the way God wants me to live and I've dodged a lot of auditions in because of so much ill content.

I really like your studies because they're under 10 minutes, but you have such depth to grasp onto during that short time!!! This is important for me because I have an 8 month old and my time to reflect, concentrate and focus on Scripture is so short!!! God REALLY spoke to me through this video and the Hebrews 10 one, as I'm dealing with this VERY subject in my life right now. Thank you so much!!!
I have a weakness for showing love to those who show no love back and for people in my family who insult me to no end. Those who set traps, snares and dig ditches for me to fall in because I am not as financially stable as they seem to be or I won't follow their life path without considering what God wants me to do. I refer to them as Judas. I have a weakness for Judas! and this concludes my weakness..at least for now!
Me. My life stinks. God is in control and that is great, but my marriage is falling apart and I'm running to God. And I have such a hard time telling people, because who wants to admit that their life is hard? But -- one thing I can say, is that I'm so amazed at how much strength God has given me over the past six months. It's certainly not from within! So if nothing else, I'm an example of Gods love and strength.
@liz3154 you are so right.. we all don't like to reveal our shortcomings.. I don't think paul (in the bible) did either.. he said there was given him a thorn in the flesh.. he really didn't reveal what it was.. so the speculation continues.. i also have my "thorns in the flesh." I admire you for hanging strong inspite of your marriage falling apart.. A hard time indeed.. I am saying a prayer for you right now!!
No one is commenting on what their weakness are. I completely understand the need to have others think that our lives are perfect, or at least better than they are. But we're being challenged, and no one has really come up to bat.
Mark, I'm just curious --- From the background in your videos, it looks like you're either in a boat cabin or in a camper trailer. We spent two years in a camper while in graduate school.
Well, I've definitely got my struggles. As far as "rejoicing" in them, even as a Christian, ...well, let's just say there's room for improvement. However, I've been far more considering going on the Bone Marrow registry despite my chronic anxiety (my counselor believes I have PTSD) since already donating blood has been a way of life since I was 18 (I'm 37 now). Last night after my aunt sent me a forward about an Asian girl with leuk. I really started opening up more to the idea.

I took my 1 hr walk and that is all I could think of... I was so encouraged by this word.. I am so aware of my weakness.. in every area of my life.. I wonder.. how do you and others walk in this on a day to day basis?
This one is soooo true-sometimes, God also allows us a break from encouragement to make us stronger than ever. He is strengthening you through your encouragement to others, Continue to stand for God knowing he's able.
Amen! I go to high school, I'm a junior now, 14 years old, and all I can't think is the negative things that might happen through out this school year, I feel I'm so weak and I don't want to strive anymore, not just with school, but life too, but I feel like im fortunate to have the lives and things around me and at the end of the day, God whispers Philippians 4:31: I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. God bless us.
