Oblivion+Morrowind review

With the better gameplay/gameworld/main quest that Morrowind has, I would give it the edge when comparing the vanilla games. But on PC, modded up, I would give them equal scores of around 9.4

On the Morrowind cons the first one isn't true. I played Oblivion first I had over 150 hours of gameplay and one day I decided to buy Morrowind. Morrowind was so much more fun.

I like them both

Oblivion is more about multiple specializations (thief/warrior hybrid).

Morrowind is more about sticking to one thing (combat/magic/stealth).

Oblivion combat's nice because you always hit the enemy.

Morrowind combat is based on dice rolls and skill levels.

Bottom line is The Elder Scrolls games are AWESOME! (including Arena and Daggerfall)

I think this was a pretty fair assessment of both games for a short video. Their really is too much to say about one less alone both at the same time. I did a review on Morrowind once and mentioned the same things. Even gave it the same score. Good job!

You are looking it a bit roughly... Morrowind also has huge open world and oblivion has crappy system with mobs lvling as you do. Also oblivion isn't logical. Why? Because the world is collapsing and you can just walk around and let em wait until you feel like doing the main quest. :D I prefer morrowind to oblivion, because morrowind has alot more things to do and... idk i just like it more ;D

Owh a few comments on your video:

Oblivion gameplay isnt 300 hours [that actualy made me laugh ^^] its 50 [still that is much compared to the 10 hour games they make these days] and Morrowinds combat felt just as smooth as Oblivions exept when your using a crap weapon with a crap skill ;D

I really doubt that - the main quest is short, yes, but there just might be about 300 hours of gameplay with ALL the sidequests included

Morrowind is nice and fantasy alike and I found Oblivion to be more medieval alike although they both have some good and some stupid aspects I like them both and can not chose witch 1 is better:D

Morrowind is better. Most of the bugs can be fixed with patches, and Also, I believe there is a mod for Oblivion-Like combat.

i like both games but truely oblivion is the best TES game in my opinion. i mean just because its an older game and brought new things to rpgs doesnt make it better. oblivion is way may updated and bigger than morrowind. THEY ARE NOT EVEN CLOSE TO THE SAME GAMES morrowind is based on a small island and oblivion [plus SI] is based in 2 big places.

I prefer morrowind the only part its lacking compared 2 oblivion is the combat system and speech, but the land of vardenfell has alot more to it. Also ur fogot about the 2 expansion packs (pc) for morrowind which adds a fozen island and a large city to the game.

WHAT? Morrowind is way better than Oblivion. I think you PLAYED Oblivion and only TOUCHED Morrowind so you could get some graphice in for this review. In morrowind, the enemies don't level up with you. In other words, leveling up has a purpose in Morrowind.
