I never cared for Iron Monkey's arrogance, but I think he's still a good breaker even though he fails to execute his moves pretty often. Ronnie, on the other hand, is just sick. He almost always perfectly executes his moves and he's insanely fast and clean, on top of being very modest.
@Ugotsta Monkey totally got robbed. I dance with him daily and I have yet to see him -not- execute a move! Not only that, but he is one of the most humble down to earth bboys I have ever met.
@skydanz Monkey's getting all up in Ronnie's face in the video seems evidence of arrogance to me. But hey, maybe he just comes off that way. I used to practice alongside him and Ivan years ago and he seemed pretty arrogant to me back then. That was my impression. Regardless, he didn't get robbed here. Ronnie wrecked in this one. And regarding execution, seriously, did Monkey really mean to just end that headspin with nothing?
@Ugotsta I didn't know him back then and I have heard from other people he used to be quite arrogant, but for the last several years I have known him, he has been one of the most humble elevated bboys I know and an inspiration to us all. I think he has changed alot. On the other hand, when one is battling, arrogance and showmanship are part of the package.
