I first heard this a a folk club in Yorkshire, a central part of Britain's mining industry. It was also the time when Aberfan came into the news when a 'slag-heap' collapsed engulfing the village school. While your song also reminds us to pray for the Chilian Miners, we think of the devastation this industry can cause to whole families.
