As a former Californian that experienced many small and some not so small earthquakes. But all my family still lives there BTW. I think that it is good advice for Californians to be prepared. I know that some if not most of Californians are NOT prepared for a major earthquake or the knowledge of what to do (even though it has been taught in schools) Don't make fun of Arnold because he is making this announcement. I don't think he means to take away from the Haitian Tragedy at all by this.
