I think that Ranka's voice doesn't really fit this song personally... I liked Sheryl's version much better, but then again Sheryl's version of Aimo wasn't that good in my opinion :/
I like it! It's a very good video, not lame at all and I like Ranka singing this song. I know it's different than Sheryl's version and some people migth see it as sappy because of her different voice range but I think her singing really matches how you did the video ^^

Personally I prefer Megumi's voice because it's not so mannered, as May'n's *like in Sheryl no Aimo.... it's HORRIBLE*. As for DC I love both, so I used Ranka's, cuz video is... well, mostly about Ranka, but you can see that I partly mixed both versions ^^

You should try the short version of this song with both Ranka and Sheryl at ep3 or ep2 ( I only know its name in jp: ダイアモンド クレバス～展望公園にて), its better, I think, even its very short, but both of them really good in this song.
And for 50/50 version, I heard about Yoko Kanno wanted Megumi sing this song as psalm (or sth like that), so ... as this song now becomes ...
However, both Sheryl's aimo and Ranka's Diamond Crevasse are very well fit the characters. both really nice.

Love both versions. Although Sheryl's is much more mature and emotional.

Just like how I don't like Sheryl singing Aimo (Ranka's song), I hate Ranka singing Diamond Crevasse (Sheryl's song).
Diamond Crevasse is supposed to be sung with raw emotion, but Megumi is making this song sound flat and cutesy-sappy sweet. No, no....
