ho please. it's not that the problem with many users. As far as I know it's a loose screw of the wifi antenna inside the iphone. I detect my network only if it is 5cm far from the router =_= then i have the same problem

Let's all face it guys. Everything has some sort of thing that bugs people a lot and this to me this is one of them. It's a hardware problem and I have noted this so many times. The Wi-Fi device does not get the full signal when behind obstacles. (walls etc) I have a PSP and FTW, it's Wi-Fi device can pick up my signal even outside but my iPod can't, when I'm in my room.

So, making things small does not mean your problems will get smaller too. Just saying.

If this doesn't work unplug your router for about 10 seconds and plug it back in and you should be able to connect :) this worked for me.

hi Guy's i've found a way to fix you're internet on your ipod touch/Iphone when the circle to connect to internet keeps spinning and it say's its connected just follow these steps.

Go to

Settings->WI-FI-> Then find you're network once you've found it click the blue arrow, which will take you to a page with forget this network at the top. scroll down till you see "DNS" click next to DNS and type in random stuff and do the same for "Search Domains" and "Client ID" then exit and should work

simple, that means your connected to the wireless network, BUT some times routers gives your devices different ips, to those of your network.

FIX>>>

got to Settings>WiFi>Press the blue Arrow on the right of the name of your Wi-Fi (>), then choose static, typedown a manual IP address:

Ip: 192.168.1.XXX <XXX means whatever number from 1-253

subnet mask: 255.255.255.0

default gateway: 192.168.1.254

dns:192.168.1.254

alternate dns: just leave it blank

ps some wifis use diff IPs

Then when you try to get wifi it will ask for password. It's your wireless security key under your modem. If not there it's In internet explorer go to your router homepage. 192.168.1.254 or whatever your number is. Go to network then wireless lan then Pre-Shared Key. that is your password. Hope that works
