This has been a really sad week for me. I lost my best friend, way before his time. When I opened my mail and saw this video from you, I was so happy! Your antics in LA made me laugh, your interpretation of The Christmas song made me smile, but your beautiful singing on Panis Angelicus made me cry. That was one of my friend's favorite Christmas songs. It was like a sign from him. Kinda crazy maybe, but that's what it felt like.
Good voice, you/he can sing really well, not going to judge upon that. I'm sorry to say but its nothing special in my opinion, considering so many people have been "cloned" in every genre of music.
I have a varied taste in music, I give any type of music a chance and if its not doing anything for me then so be it. I just find this quite bland, I've seen and heard it before many times and its quite tiring after a while.
You know I respect your opinion and certainly not everyone is going to like every performer or every type of music and thank goodness or life truly WOULD be bland, but to those of us who have followed David's career first with Amici Forever and now as a solo artist, you can't imagine how GRATEFUL and appreciative we all are that David made this greeting card for us for Christmas.
I think David is amazing. If you saw him live on stage, and you like his kind of music . . .
(ran out of room) I bet you would find him an original, extremely talented singer and not a clone of anyone. Maybe not, but I certainly do.
I wish I had been one of the lucky ones to have seen him perform as Tony in the West End revival of West Side Story because from what I heard, he was brilliant and from his rough rehearsal videos here on YouTube of those songs he is a unique talent and SUCH a nice man.

I always marvel at how easy on the ears (and eyes ;D) David is--like talking, except singing! (You also sound like a Yank singing the Xmas song! haha!) As a cellist, I know it takes A LOT of practice before you get that easy, impromptu quality. Also kudos to a very talented accompanist--I also know firsthand how rare really good accompanists are.
Panis Angelicus is one of my faves, you sing it so beautifully. It is such a sacred song, and you send chills up my spine when you sing it!

I'm so pleased! I am currently recording a Christmas CD for my family. It is NOT an easy task. The Christmas Song was one of my choice picks for this CD. Your video is really good David, I've listened to it every day since it was uploaded.
Today I was really tired when I got home,
I was too tired to go to my teaching in solo singing as I go to on Mondays.But when I had seen your lovely video with humor and beautiful singing again, I had new energy and went to my solo singing, thank you so much for saving my day;)
I love both songs and the music is wonderful, I love Ken Hirschs arrangements, so beautiful on both songs.

Dear David,
This has been a really sad week for me. I lost my best friend, way before his time. When I opened my mail and saw this video from you, I was so happy! Your antics in LA made me laugh, your interpretation of The Christmas song made me smile, but your beautiful singing on Panis Angelicus made me cry. That was one of my friend's favorite Christmas songs. It was like a sign from him. Kinda crazy maybe, but that's what it felt like.

Good voice, you/he can sing really well, not going to judge upon that. I'm sorry to say but its nothing special in my opinion, considering so many people have been "cloned" in every genre of music.
I have a varied taste in music, I give any type of music a chance and if its not doing anything for me then so be it. I just find this quite bland, I've seen and heard it before many times and its quite tiring after a while.

You know I respect your opinion and certainly not everyone is going to like every performer or every type of music and thank goodness or life truly WOULD be bland, but to those of us who have followed David's career first with Amici Forever and now as a solo artist, you can't imagine how GRATEFUL and appreciative we all are that David made this greeting card for us for Christmas.
I think David is amazing. If you saw him live on stage, and you like his kind of music . . .

I wish I had been one of the lucky ones to have seen him perform as Tony in the West End revival of West Side Story because from what I heard, he was brilliant and from his rough rehearsal videos here on YouTube of those songs he is a unique talent and SUCH a nice man.
I am proud to be a fan of David's and it's ok that you aren't!

Its very true that people have different tastes; its what makes this such a colourful world.
David has an unbelievable depth of talent, and the way he reaches & affects people from all across the globe, with his music & wonderful personality is testament to that.
This Christmas message will make a lot of people happy and to bring negativity in to its forum is really not in the spirit of things.

Good that we all have a different taste. How dull otherwise! I am a friend/fan/Habbin'eros of David not only for his songs - his voice - his charisma - his kind,warmhearted, outgoing and funny being - but very much also for his honesty, which shows in all of his quasi private videos here. It's the whole package David Habbin I like. Please just don't confound with professional video-clips.

I always marvel at how easy on the ears (and eyes ;D) David is--like talking, except singing! (You also sound like a Yank singing the Xmas song! haha!) As a cellist, I know it takes A LOT of practice before you get that easy, impromptu quality. Also kudos to a very talented accompanist--I also know firsthand how rare really good accompanists are.
Panis Angelicus is one of my faves, you sing it so beautifully. It is such a sacred song, and you send chills up my spine when you sing it!

I'm so pleased! I am currently recording a Christmas CD for my family. It is NOT an easy task. The Christmas Song was one of my choice picks for this CD. I love the song, but never performed it before, so I spent a good chunk of time on Youtube recently to find the perfect rendition. Yours, David, is by far the most beautiful.

Gee, I get tied up and don't check my email for a day and look what I miss! You have done an amazing job with both of these songs, which happen to be my all time favorites!! I grew up listening to Panis Angelicus by Pavarotti, and this was every bit to his level.

Hi David,
Thanks for another beautifully sung pair of songs and a bit of comic relief in between takes. While you were in sunny LA, I was touring around rainy Ireland photographing castles and soggy sheep. Of course I made managed to visit lots of Irish pubs too.
Still keeping my piano polished up for you and the accompanist of your choosing to come and sing here in Canada.
