I'm glad that you mentioned the subject of good/bad memory. I have mild Asperger's Syndrome and my memory absolutely sucks.
Although, like you said, it can be exceptional in other ways. I'll remember silly trivial things with accuracy; like how a word is spelled or the audio from movies.
