The song itself is copyrighted Prince (who is quite a control freak, as you know). James Taylor there, in order to have the right to perform it in public legally is required to obtain a license from Prince or whatever agency Prince uses for such things. It may be your video, true... but it is Prince's words and Taylor's voice. Since it is easy to download this video onto my computer, I could have been given the opportunity to own a unique song at no cost to me! Both Prince & Taylor would lose.
