Good to see that there are Christians on youtube, who are down to earth. It is important for Christians and their faith to seek consistency between religion (which is based on the Bible, written long time ago) and the today's world. If not, you'll end up like some hatemonger from Westbro Babtist Church.
@werwohlsein God doesn't exist, so the "Jesus" people believe follow their own heart's desires. The Westboro Baptist Church are disillusioned lawyers, so they go around provoking people to commit violence acts on them so they can sue them. The Calvary leaders value wealth, so they fill their house full of fancy restaurants and expensive video equipment. Jesus taught the kingdom of god lies within your heart. Calvary offers great freedom, but it's just not the type the historical Jesus offers.
@H0lyPh3n0m Nope, sure don't. 2 Peter 3:9 says not willing any should perish, but all come to repentance, yet people aren't all going to accept Christ. There's other things in the bible that I believe supports this as well.
I do laugh when I hear athletes praise the jebus when they win gold. Yeah, it wasn't the hours spent training on rainy evenings or the strict regime of diet and exercise. It was a 2000 year old zombie who did it. You funny little people do make me laugh.
After praying you need to try your hardest to win.
Sometimes, God's will is for athlete A to beat athelete B. Why? God knows everything. He knows that if AthleteA beat AthleteB, that that would be best. We don't know the reasons. But it is true.
check out colt mccoy. he's a great example of a great christian athlete. look at his post game interview after the national champs. please reply after you've seen it :) God bless~

Let me tell you who decides the victor.
If both prays then both have a positive.
After we both pray we need to work at it.
After praying you need to try your hardest to win.

@H0lyPh3n0m Things happen that God doesn't control. I believe sports is one of those things. >.<

@llamabait Hmm, you can say that, but don't you also believe everything happening is God's will?

I'm a Christian athlete. I'm an amateur boxer, and I will always praise
my LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST.
As Christian athletes, we must shine in the power of
our LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST.
We must always give 110% and go for the win. We must also have the courage to share our love for JESUS CHRIST with our opponents and teammates.
