There's a simply GREAT recording of a tune called "Dora Dean" (I think it's the same one, but not sure) on the LP "Golden Reunion in Ragtime" featuring original ragtimers Joe Jordan, Charley Thompson and Eubie Blake. Joe Jordan actually sings this tune, aided and abetted by the other musicians.
A terrific and wonderful recording well worth hearing! I think copies of this LP are on Ebay from time to time. It is listed on Amazon (with sound samples) just as "Reunion in Ragtime".
This looks like the Chatauqua Roller organ I used to have. Try to find a faster song and it will sound better. "Cobs" I remember having were: After The Ball, Du Du (something) Im Herzen, My Mothers Old Red Shawl, and Abide With Me. That last one I can remember playing and the family singing to, accompanied also by a Mason/Hamlin pump organ.
pretty neat. Looks like a Chautaqua roller organ. I have one of these exact ones that i just restored a few months ago. Yours looks to be in pretty nice condition for being original. Mine was in bad shape and wouldn't play at all until it was restored. Do you have the lid and window glass still?

the chautauqua and the concert roller are identical 'stencil' names. The organ was missing the cover, but came with 47 cobs!!!!
