@xZairie When I used CamStudio, it wouldnt even save. I recorded like a 10 second thing and it went just fine, but when I recorded a speedpaint it didnt work at all. :/

Ok, how do you speed the video up. i have the same webcame and move maker but my video is like... and hour long, how do I speed it up!? D;

So here is a question about trouble when or after recording. I use CamStudio which works fine, but it would seem that after about 40 minutes my video files become corrupted. Is it just me, or do you find yourself having to stop you arting on a regular basis? also, is Hypercam lagging your art programs very much?

I just a bit new to the screen casting scene.. need help... :(

@AngeltheMage1 Ahh I hate CamStudio. It has never worked on my computer so I just use HyperCam. And it doesn't lag for me, but if it does for you I suggest closing all other programs you have running other than it and the art program.

@hagehidoku Go on Windows Movie Maker or any other film editing program. There's a special effect called "Speed up". Drag that to the clip to make it faster.

@Toxictyphon77 You set it at a higher frame rate. For example, depending on how long I think the project will be, I set it at 50-90 frames.

well if you use WMM, go to video effects and then use the speed up double effect and that should do it.

Very good vid! I am having a problem though- I record it all, then I use Windows Movie Maker, speed it up, add titles, etc.

But when I try to publish it, WWM fails everytime, it says Window's Movie Maker (Not Responding) and it does it EVERY TIME :(

You do that on the video editing program you use. Right click the video and choose "effects" on WMM. You should see an option to speed it up by double.
