  • @nov3019892008 I no longer live in the UK, but am sure Scunthorpe Steelworks is still open and making rails. Now owned by TATA, I think.

  • once again top vid, D2853 (02003) was one of a handfull of 02 shunters that sat outside allerton shed near liverpool, they never moved, we used to see them at allerton when we went on merseyrovers as kids, tthanks for posting

  • Whish i could get in the redcar steel works, thats about 30 miles from me in shildon, apparently redcar has its own internal rail system and i am a rail enthuiast

  • Our tour was organised by DEMU group (a model rail forum). Absolutely fascinating tour.

  • quite good footage. i'm not too far from the corus teeseide steel works, scunthorpes seem bigger. good old british steel!
