From what else I've seen, it seems that Brider has the worst grammar in the game. What are the chances that the developers intentionally made him speak poor English for some reason?

Yes it's true that the game came before the Anime, but you have to realize that for one this review was done way after they both came out. Also character move use isn't bad in theory, but this game didn't make it good
The game came before the anime moron. And just because the aspects of "use the characters moves" have been done before doesn't make it bad when it's done again.
You talk about a translator and that's exactly what the makers of the game did. It just so happens that when translated over it was never localized. Engrish was rampant at the time, and honestly, who doesn't like a little bit of Engrish to make them laugh? Horrible review. Rubbish I call it.

First of all how is this game part anime when the game wasn't based on the movie, but rather the movie was based on the game? Stop doing the zooms with the camera. How can anyone take this seriously when you're talking about murder?

It is no more broken than the vast majority of games of its time, and both the audiovisuals and play mechanics are at least slightly above-average for a 1995 game. I certainly prefer it over CFE, SvC or KOF: MI(2), all released comparatively recently...

If you do decide to reciew Dark Legend, the US Saturn version is much better than the arcade or mame version.
