  • You can also use marinated beef, tuna (can), or fish cake instead of ham if you want. Vegetarians can put various kinds of vegetables only, such as cucumbers, spinach, carrots, or even Kimchi. ^^ Hope this helps!

  • Do they always use pork for kimbap (i only eat beef so i'm curious^^)

  • nyumnyumnyumnyummmmmmmm soo effortless.. good job!

  • OMG it's almost 1am now and I'm watching this...I can't wait to make it looks so yummy...ahhhh

  • 맛있겠다~

  • what can we substitute the pickled radish if some people can't eat it?

  • @eternallight351

You can use cucumber instead of the radish. Cut them into a few strips and soak them in water with 1 Tb of salt, sugar and vinegar for a half an hour. Then it will be ready for you.

  • @lifelongenglish thank you!

  • very creative video; great job BOTH of you!

  • Aaw the girl is so cute

  • It looks like you had a lot of fun! It's really important to introduce your children to cooking when they're young, so many people don't know how to cook.

  • Yes, it's plain rice that I bought from a local Korean mart. You can add 1 tsp of salt and 1TSP of sesame oil to the cooked rice. Enjoy!

  • is it just plain rice?or have to add other ingredient??

  • someones left handed

  • Is the rice like normal rice or is there a specific type of rice ??? Also, do we add anything to the rice ??

  • aww! this was too cute!! and kimbap looked delicious!!! ill def try this at home!!! :3 thanxs

  • Instead of ham I usual use marinated cooked beef but other then that the ingredients are the same :)

  • Yes, for the spinach: I parboiled it and mixed it with 1 tsp of sesame oil and 1 tsp of soy sauce with hands. For the carrots, I stir fried it briefly with 1 tsp of olive oil and a dash of salt. The reason why I put a few grains of rice along the top seam of the seaweed was to hold the roll together. You can also use a tiny dab of water instead of rice. Hope this helps to answer your questions. Good luck!

  • Hello, First of I wanted to say thanks for posting the video's there fun to watch!

I have a few questions about making Kimbap, the first one is, did you cook the spinach and carrots before rolling them into the Kimbap? and the other question is why did you put a few grains of rice on the naked edge of the dried seaweed before you rolled it?? I look forward to your answer and I cannot wait to try this myself!

  • Thank you for your sweet encouragement!

  • Oh....I Love Korean Kimbap and it's delicious :) we will try making next time :D

  • did you add anything to the rice? like any oils or seasonings?

  • Yes, it's spam, but you can always replace it to other kinds of ham. You can even find 'Kimbap Ham' which is neatly cut and sliced for making Kimbap already in a Korean market. ^^

  • is that spam?

  • Comment removed

  • I thought making kimbap is complicated..thanks to your video..I surely will try this ^^

  • It's just you put one inch of water from the surface of cleaned rice in the rice cooker and push the button to cook. The brand name of my rice cooker is "COOKOO" from Korea. Hope this helps for you.

  • How do you get the rice to be nice & sticky so it clumps up nicely in the kim?

  • Well, we'll try making them next time! Thanks~

  • It would be awesome if you did a tutorial on how to make mandu guk and fishcake soup =]
