This is what I think - What if when you died you are born again...but in another world/universe/dimension. Or what if this world is a dream and when you die you wake up from it. But then again, they are just what ifs.

When you are asleep if feels like you don't exist, you don't feel the passage of time. I think this is what death would be like, you just cease to exist. Maybe there is another life afterwards but I feel reborn is a bad word to describe it. It implies there is something from the previous life is still held on to.
