  • yay goldeneye with its beta picture of the old AK-47 and the beta facility

  • the feather was used before. super mario world 3 for the NES. gave you the tanuki suit I believe. other than that though, not a bad video, finding pics of that feather online IS hard

  • not a very good video at all. do not waste your time on this.

  • @thewackydelly Looking back on this video, I'd have to agree.

  • im looking for that box lol i only got the limit eddtion rare atomic blue contoller box

  • and I always thought I was the only one who noticed that :D

  • Wow, that's great.

In my Nintendo 64 box, the game images are differents, in mine there are Super Mario 64, Banjo-Kazooie, Pilotwings, Killer stinkt gold, Star Wars and Crus'n USA...

Your nintendo 64 box is nicer than mine...

  • Does anyone know the dimensions of the boxes that the N64 games come in?

  • I remember noticing that on the TP box(magic meter). I would even pay money just to get that damn box back! My dad throgh it away last year. Loved that box.

  • I got my N64 of eBay for £3.99 ^_^

  • oh yeah adding to that; i did notice something that you all didnt!!!

The character's squares ( that show their rank) are BACKWARDS!!! And i didn't even look at the high resolution pic!!! and i love the n64!!

  • OMG that's sooooooooo cool! i can't believe that

  • Cool, also I'm getting a N64 from eBay or something... I read somewhere that the N64 came with a game or something? I don't remember. Can you tell me if it did or not?

  • Thanks for the reply!

I'm sure that later Nintendo 64 units were packaged with some sort of game, though a lot of the units probably were not. It also depends on the eBay seller's description of the item you are buying, and whether they are including everything that originally came in the box and/or any extra accessories or games.

  • Actually, the feather item is found in Super Mario World for the SNES, in case you've forgotten.

Anyway, cool video, thanks for sharing.

  • Oh yeah, I definitely remember the good ol' feather in Super Mario World. I forgot what I said in the video (and I'm too lazy to look back at it again :P ), but I was probably referring to only the Mario Kart series in my mentioning of the item.

Thanks for the reply and information, anyway!

  • For the Goldeneye image:

After doing a little research I found that the gun he has is acctually the AK-47, but it was renamed and changed to the KF7 Soviet to avoid copyright issues.

Although I find it strange that the guy playing had already picked up 370 ammo, since he's only at the beginning of the level.

  • Wow thats really intresting. Do you know what the feather acctually did in the original Mario Kart?

Also could you get a better picture of the Goldeneye image? I'm almost sure that gun he has isn't in the final game.

  • Thanks for the reply!

If I remember correctly, the feather item made your kart jump higher and with a spin in Super Mario Kart; it actually seems like it would be a pretty decent item for inclusion in other Mario Kart games, though I can understand why it was removed from Mario Kart 64.

I will definitely try to take a closeup picture of the Goldeneye image after I'm done doing something else. When I have the image ready, I'll post it as another reply to this.

  • Youtube seems to have issues with me posting links in the comments section, so I'll include the photo that I took as a TinyPic link in the video's description. Sadly, the gun model that you want to examine blends in with other portions of the image, but that's also an issue on the box itself.

I hope that it helps you out!

  • I knew i wasn't crazy
