whats the name of the pedal you are using for the VAN HALEN effect on this song ??

I'm using the flanger preset on a Yamaha SPX-90 effects rack. I just changed the preset settings to closely match Paul's flanger effect. By the way, Paul on the album uses a Electro-Harmonix 'Electric Mistress' flanger pedal. :)

For the flanger effects he primarily uses a modified A/DA flanger. But yes he does use the EH EM too.
I can get that flanger sound with my Vetta, its a hell of a lot of fun to use.

Oh goodness....you _REALLY_ went all out to pay tribute to Gilbert...this is easily the best cover of Paul Gilbert we will hear in a long time!
Thank you...this is my favorite Paul Gilbert songs AND one of my favorite all time songs!
A little bit sloppy at certain sections...and you palm-mute sections which shouldn't be palm-muted....like the melody at 6:20-ish.
But in any case, AWESOME! I LOVE YOUR TONE!
