@GavinSamAnimation I'm an atheist, but I have lots of Christian friends, in my school we have to go to chapel occasionally. What you have to learn is that you're not going to change anyone's mind and that you have to deal with Christians and not judge them solely on their beliefs. When people talk about god, I just act politely. So should you. There is not reason why it should hurt you. It's their beliefs, not yours.

@JoshSundquist Well, YouTube is about as broad a source of media as television in general. I just don't think the 700 Club is the type of program you should associate yourself with if you don't want to isolate some your fans. There are certain perspectives and opinions that broadcasters represent which will attach themselves to a person being interviewed whether they wish that to happen or not. No hard feelings, though. I still admire and respect you, I was just disappointed in this choice.
@LiliPwnz I think the reason he did this was because he wasn't ashamed of whatever he believes in. He probably knew that some people wouldn't like it, but sometimes that's a risk that you want to take if it's truly what he believes in. I'm not dissagreeing with you that some of his fans will not like him anymore, because I think that's already happened. I personally don't mind that he associated himself with that program, but I'm honestly one to talk because of my beliefs.

No one is trying to shove religion down your throat. Josh and everyone else should be able to express how they feel about their religion or whatever else they may or may not believe in. I'm sure you would ask the same respect to be shown towards your wish to believe in or not believe in whatever you want to, so show the same respect and open your eyes.

The general intolerance of most religions (and religious people) frustrates me beyond words, but the intolerance of non-religious people is equally infuriating.
@darknight0dc I can understand how it might seem that way but i'm just fed up that people can't keep their religions to themselves. And it is more often than not the religious people that are not tolerant towards atheists of agnostics. It has gotten to a point where I have lost respect for religious people since most of them are far worse educated on the matter than a lot of atheists including myself. (scripture/evolution/science in general,...)
@serialced I'm an atheist and haven't found all christians to be thick uneducated people who try to change my beliefs. Maybe that's just because in Britain, religion is less powerful and less oppressive than when you live (America?).
@ThePhilpism I'm an American Christian and I have a couple atheist friends :P One thing, they certainly know I am not uneducated or here to challenge anyone's belief's XD So... I'm going to say no for America :) Though, I'm not 312 million people... I'm only one.

It's ironic how America is quite a strongly religious country (more so than the UK) despite one of the amendments being that the government cannot get involved in religion (or something like that) meaning that it has no official religion, whereas Britain is officially a christian country, but less people are christian.

I don't label myself with any religion, but I guess you could file me under agnostic, and I live in Texas (which is part of the bible belt) The people here are insanely religious, and I've had my fair share of persecution. I find that for me it's best to just ignore it when people go off on their religious beliefs.
There are plenty of educated Christian in the world, but the uneducated ones tend to be much much louder. :( it's unfortunate.

ok josh i don't really wanna do this but i'm not gonna pretend i'm ok with you being on the 700 club. saying "Being on the 700 Club doesn't mean I agree with everything that's said on the show any more than being on YouTube means I agree with everything that's said on YouTube." it's like going on a youtube CHANNEL that has said horrible things. to do something so low for publicity has caused me to lose alot of respect for you, and sorry.. but those baby blues cant keep me subscribed. bye josh.

you're one the few youtubers setting out to live your dream.To me it seems you aren't just living your second chance at life, but making it aware for others to see how rare life really is and how fast it can be taken away. All the people who have lost their life in Japan can't get theirs back, but this is chance to show those who are still living how lucky they are to be alive. It's a lesson that not many people learn about and let others know about it.I'm glad though you're sharing this lesson.

@JoshSundquist Well, YouTube is about as broad a source of media as television in general. I just don't think the 700 Club is the type of program you should associate yourself with if you don't want to isolate some your fans. There are certain perspectives and opinions that broadcasters represent which will attach themselves to a person being interviewed whether they wish that to happen or not. No hard feelings, though. I still admire and respect you, I was just disappointed in this choice.

@LiliPwnz I think the reason he did this was because he wasn't ashamed of whatever he believes in. He probably knew that some people wouldn't like it, but sometimes that's a risk that you want to take if it's truly what he believes in. I'm not dissagreeing with you that some of his fans will not like him anymore, because I think that's already happened. I personally don't mind that he associated himself with that program, but I'm honestly one to talk because of my beliefs.

No one is trying to shove religion down your throat. Josh and everyone else should be able to express how they feel about their religion or whatever else they may or may not believe in. I'm sure you would ask the same respect to be shown towards your wish to believe in or not believe in whatever you want to, so show the same respect and open your eyes.

@serialced that seems a little extreme. He didn't even discuss religion in this video, with the exception of mentioning that the interview he did was for a christian show.
The general intolerance of most religions (and religious people) frustrates me beyond words, but the intolerance of non-religious people is equally infuriating.

@darknight0dc I can understand how it might seem that way but i'm just fed up that people can't keep their religions to themselves. And it is more often than not the religious people that are not tolerant towards atheists of agnostics. It has gotten to a point where I have lost respect for religious people since most of them are far worse educated on the matter than a lot of atheists including myself. (scripture/evolution/science in general,...)

@serialced I'm an atheist and haven't found all christians to be thick uneducated people who try to change my beliefs. Maybe that's just because in Britain, religion is less powerful and less oppressive than when you live (America?).

It's also just probably the areas where you live. Certain areas in southern america have quite a high proportion of 'extreme' Christians. Sorry.

The only thing I wanted to point out was where I was from. Honestly, the fact you pointed out America was a logical choice. It is a very religious country in comparison to other developed countries. I mean, even on the currency it states, 'In God we Trust'

It's ironic how America is quite a strongly religious country (more so than the UK) despite one of the amendments being that the government cannot get involved in religion (or something like that) meaning that it has no official religion, whereas Britain is officially a christian country, but less people are christian.

I don't label myself with any religion, but I guess you could file me under agnostic, and I live in Texas (which is part of the bible belt) The people here are insanely religious, and I've had my fair share of persecution. I find that for me it's best to just ignore it when people go off on their religious beliefs.
There are plenty of educated Christian in the world, but the uneducated ones tend to be much much louder. :( it's unfortunate.
