That is a fantastic looking gun. Its a shame that was only made on a course, because here in the UK, a "handgun" has to have either a 18 inch barrel, or have a twelve inch barrel with a brace fitted to the grip to make them 24 inches overall. If you could produce guns like that here they would sell like hot cakes!
@dantescritic They don't offer that exact course any more. But the current single action gunsmithing course costs $250...plus materials, which could run you $1,000. Plus travel and lodging.
I keep seeing all these cool videos on youtube and then I keep looking below them and seeing Duelist1954 as the uploader. I think I'm going to have to subscribe.
An unusual thing about my R&D conversion cylinder for my Ruger Old Army is that I have to lower the barrel when I cock it. If I raise the barrel like a typical cap and ball revolver (to let the cap fragments fall off), the firing pins slide to the rear and block the action. It sometimes does it to my '58 Remington, also.

How much would a gun like this cost? In other words, how much does it cost to attend that gun building class?

That gun should be used in a western movie by a guy able to take out someone with that gun from a mile away.

You could have put a really long load lever on it to make it real easy to load. :)
