Nice vid! I confess, I've ever only seen/read Interview, but I do like the idea of Stuart Townsend as Lestat better than Tom Cruise. I'm in the middle of The Vampire Lestat right now...and I'm certain that he was a better casting decision. Anyway. Though Louis is my favorite character - as of yet - I enjoyed this!

i havent read the books and ive only seen queen of the damned. but... so whats with lestat and claudia? was she like his daughter or something cos they never even hinted that in Queen of the Damned.

I can definitely see why you'd be confused there! The movie Queen of the Damned is only very, very slightly similar to the book, in terms of characters and plot. In the books, Claudia is a vampire made by Lestat for his companion Louis in the late eighteenth century. And there was tragedy, etc, but you'd be better off reading the books to find out, or seeing the movie version of Interview with the Vampire.

I think you'd enjoy the books if you liked Queen of the Damned :)

Interview with the Vampire is the first one, then The Vampire Lestat, then Queen of the Damned, then ten or so more of varying quality. If you don't like Interview don't worry, the others have different narrators and quite a different feel.

I'd like to hear what you think about Interview when you've read it, so post back with a trip report!

That was a really really awesome video. The way you've manipulated the images to both match the music and match toether in order to create a story that flows well. And with Lestate being haunted with Claudia's ghost kinda symbolizes his guilt over her death. I love it and I'm gonna add it to my favs.

These movies are Queen of the Damned and Interview with the Vampire. This is a combination of both of them. Queen of the Damned is just a few years old, while Interview with the Vampire is about ten years old now...They are both based on the Anne Rice novels. Interview with the Vampire stars Brad Pitt as Louis Kirsten Dunst and Tom Cruise as Lestat. Queen of the Damned is a sequel to Interview with the Vampire. Lestat isn't played by Tom Cruise in this one, instead by Stuart Townsend.

That was AWESOME! With the way the video was done the song made it seem very haunting. Looking at your own comment where you said you wanted to make it look like she was running to him, I think it looks better with her running away. You said she was haunting him, if you're doing that then you would think that Claudia was watching him from afar while he's thinking about her. Major hottness!
