  • 6:50 In 10 seconds it goes from good warm audio to bad high pitched audio on the digital. This is why music and tv are so much worse now! I'm like the only one who realizes it.

  • Cool!!!!

    It´s a real studio cam :o

  • We had this exact same one at school during plays to broadcast into the room where we waited to come on stage! Very nifty.

  • I just bought one, got lost at the filter part

  • @Productions151 Where did you buy one at?

  • Stuff from the early 90's is so much cooler than now

  • Amazing picture quality better than any HD camcorder of our time, broadcast quality for sure ! I own a full size standart Panasonic VHS camera but the quality is far away from this pro consumer grade unit.

Will be happy to find one of this for sale !

  • The picture quality was quite amazing!

  • schöne kamera haste da .... ;-)

  • nice camera

  • are shoulder mount cameras the way to go?

  • digital cameras suck

  • how long dose the battery last on it?

  • Not bad quality!

  • thats KGWNTV CBS for all of nebraska southwest and wyoming ! thanks there used to go to a motel on lincoinway there but i use my torshiba hd 1080 cam corder and used the rca all-in-one m2 nighthawk ! yes andd ikegami gear ..

  • Thank you for the demo, I now have three of these cameras, I am looking for the right tripod stand to mount these on and ideas, also is it possible to operate these cameras without someone holding the record button, I just purchased these cameras and have not yet tried them. Thanks

  • SO COOL!!!

  • I just picked up this camera! How do I transfer video tape to computer so I can edit it

  • @closinthegapTV heres what you do, go to radio shck and buy a capture card (theyre between 30-50 dollars for a decent one) then you play the tape in your vcr, and capture it onto your computer into a video file.

  • i got the wv f250b,,do you know if you can record to a hard drive or other recording devices other than the svhs deck?it does have s-video out and bnc?out?can you record to a digital camera by hook up bnc cable?i just want to record to digital someway,,,,thnx

  • I have thought of getting a VHS or Beta camcorder. Just haven't seen any pal versions with 230v chargers

  • this camcorder weighs about?

    JVC GY-knows?

  • @gustavohdtv : Around 5 kilograms, but that's with a standard NP-x kind of battery. The Anton Bauer brick in this video usually adds and extra kilogram to the total weight.

  • Wow, I feel so old now watching this. In those days videos use to cost cheap. Now today with new camera equipment with new HD Digital Video Cameras it cost a fortune videos now. But today even though videos are pricey the quality and colors are better than it was in those days. Videos were poor in those days.

  • God damn the quality of the video is actually pretty nice

  • thats one big video camera that thing must weigh a tun but i still would like to have one of those vintage panasonic professional svhs reporter video cameras from the early 1990s

  • beautiful piece of machinery

  • can someone inform me how to record on a dvd disc what i have allredy recorded in a tape with panasonic NV-VZ15? THX in advance

  • WHY THE ANALIGIC VIDEO CAMERAS ARE SO BAD...?

  • Очень не умный обзор)) Автор явно впервые её в руки взял))

  • The video doesn't look very bright (gloomy day) and the color wasn't too brilliant or colorful. Is that a trait of that camera or just because it's old?

  • @grindinglicks : I think it's because it's old. CCD's in ENG-style camera's like these were relatively new, before those tubes were used (you can usually see the difference, for instance, when a bright light enters the scene it leaves a trail in the image for a while in footage from tube cameras.)

  • Very Nice explanation

  • from cbs news wicked

  • thanks for sharing, picture quality is very good indeed.

  • hi thanks cool video saw is this camera very old?

    is it a good camera?

cause I both one similar but from sony

and it was very old technology

    thanks

  • How much would that be back when it was mainstream?

  • 1990s is not Vintage. 1985 and under is soon to be 1986

  • @67tr876 Seeing as how this camera is 100% analog and nearly 20 years old I have to disagree

  • @uwtitanfan I don't think that this thing is 100% analogue device at all , you just can't controll the LCD and viewfinder without bunch of digital microcontrollers . Analogue here is just a recording technology on magnet tape .

But any way this is wonderful device , i'm still remember that VHS players from my childhood , thanks for the video !

  • @67tr876 Anything older than 20 years is vintage

  • @Dusty696969 well that was for cars not cam's.

  • cxdjlv,gkbm , ngbhl,kbmgfbjkfcdjsxucdghdfcvdjv kckbvkbk mjgkbng

  • dam good quality

  • this is an awesome camera! didnt you say you were borrowing it? man that stinks dont you wish it was yours?

  • @videogamer24385 Thanks! Usually when people see me with camera, their reaction is "GET THAT THING OUT OF MY FACE!"

  • Nice camera,I would like to have one like this.

  • Please tell me how to capture for this camera!!!!!!!

  • pretty nice

  • i wish i had one of them my mates would be shocked

  • Very nice image that you are getting from SVHS. I have the same deck on my Sony DXC325, but I think its done too many miles.

  • Great Video...I am find one if they aren't not to exspensive.

  • Was the footage from the camera captured from an S-VHS tape or was it captured from the camera's outputs in real time?

  • you sold them?

  • Thats a lovely camcorder, wouldn't mind getting one shipped to Oz.

  • Nice camerqa mate. I have a few 3CCD SVHS and Hi8 camcorders similar to this like the Supercam, EVW 300, JVC X1/X2/X3.

  • your 30?? what!

  • This being the first of your videos I've seen, I'd like to say that this is a good demo for the camera. Personally, I like my Panasonic HDC-TM-300 Full HD camera. The battery life sucks but that's just how things are. Great video man.

  • My shoulder will never forget these type of cameras, as the Sony betacam. nice and well maintained piece of equipment, belongs in a museum, but I would have one.

  • wow! thats great quality! not much different to the miniDV cameras i use at college!

    thanks for making this!

  • Awesome video man. I have always wanted one of those late 80's - early 90's VHS/SVHS camcorders.

  • Check EBAY - I see these units posted on their quite often

  • I have a Panasonic AG-DP800 1994 S-VHS camcorder. How do I live capture my 750 lines video to my pc instead of dumping it on the 400 S-VHS tape? Thanks for your help...

  • @pastormarkburns I have this also. I want to know if I can hook up a HDD recorder or a DV recorder to it so footgae in digital? ANy ideas?

  • @GanEdenAustralia There are basically three ways to transfer analog video to a computer. 1) Get a DVD recorder and hook the S-VHS camera to it and record the footage, finalize the DVD, put it in your computer and copy the files. 2) Get some sort of video capture device or card. 3) There are certain Sony Mini DV and Digital8 camcorders that have inputs that were capable of streaming video to a computer via a FireWire cable.

  • @uwtitanfan why is thier a cbs 5 sticker???

  • @soccerdude7330

i might get one for 50 bucks....

do u think thats a good deal?
