  • this technique is especially good because in a depressed state it is hard to rationally think and come up for answers for each depressing thouhgt. instead you are separating it, and in ur confused state all u have to do is recognize the depression and get out of there.

  • this is what i have also learned from my experience for every one of those tricky thoughts that come up. for every thought depressing thought you manage to avoid with reminding yourself this is depression and just relaxing you give yourself a moments breather the more dark thoughts you dodge, bit by bit you reach a more relaxed calm mood and the thoughts leave you alone until your next depression.

  • I put my foot down and know that I can do anything. I have everything and I have love. I have a family who loves me, I have a roof over my head, a job, and friends. I love myself as far as sexuality goes and self image.

    But I can't do it. My body is just stuck. It doesn't want to do anything because it knows that it will result in pain and failure.

  • @V2Cephei push yourself. Your depression makes you think you can't do it but it's really not as hard as it makes it seem. hope that made sense.
