  • Sea Shepherds 4 ever! FTW :D

In my opinion though, I believe that whaling will never stop BUT it can be minimized a lot! Whales are awesome animals, why someone should kill them just to earn money.?. :(

  • Beautiful song, gorgeous voice :-)

  • Fu whalers

  • It is an impossible task for me to try to fathom the mentality of anyone who supports whaling. One viewing of the harpooning of a whale should be enough to melt the most hardened heart, but it apparently isn't. The notion of someone being able to watch a beautiful fellow creature writhing in agony for half an hour and still feel nothing is beyond my comprehension. Such a person must be completely without compassion or empathy, and I can only pity them. BTW, Holly Kirby is amazing!

  • Whalers are barbarians.

Anyone that questions the 'one sided ness' of Whale wars ( for example ) or anti-whalers clearly have no thoughts towards the pain these animals go threw. From the fear , to the harpoon these animals are killed for a reason that makes no sense. Clearly whalers know its wrong because of the BS "research" excuse...

  • these animals are beautiful and amazing, killing whales is a ruin over nature

  • The Indian is worshiping the cow as a god.

BUT We are eating the beef.

    The Wiser or Christ,,,

    Which DO YOU SAVE?

    YOU, LOSE

  • save the whales!

  • @babyarnlove Ever wonder why Whales Wars is so one sided. Its because it is mostly the Sea Shepherds decide what you the viewer gets to see. This story is from their side only. The Japanese are portrayed as villains and the Sea Shepherds are the heroes. Some would call this propaganda. What would you call it?

  • Whales should not be slaughtered its just wrong you have to be fucked up in the head to support hunting and this is how deer and whales are the same the both breath, eat, live, see, smell, feel, think, travel, move, etc!!!!!!!! HUNTING SHOULD NOT BE IGNORED HOW WOULD YOU LIKE IT IF I SLAUGHTERED YOUR FAMILY IN FRONT OF YOU AND THEN KILL YOU. WOULD NOT BE NICE WOULD IT ???WHY SHOULD WHALES GO THROUGH THE SAME THING???????

  • @patrick123POB you are the one that is wrong and messed up in the head to beleive that hunting is is bad. but i do agree with you that whales should not be hunted for "research". don't blame hunting.

  • I happen to believe in whale hunting. Why should they be any different than say a deer? I am amazed at the number of viewers of Whale Wars who actually support the Japanese. I believe that those of us that support Whale Hunting are in the majority.

  • @HOOSIERLOVER There's only one thing wrong though - your belief that a majority of people support whale 'hunting' is totally incorrect. It's estimated that in the US (for example) only 27% support whaling & the number is only this high due to ignorance amongst the general population regarding the facts of the issue.

  • @swampcat1 you are totaly correct

  • @HOOSIERLOVER Hahaha retard.

The difference is, most whales have been driven to the brink of extinction now. Deers, yeah they're plentiful.

And don't have a spaz at me for saying it's a different thing, both killing animals, cause I'm a vegetarian anyawy.

  • @HOOSIERLOVER the whales are very different from deer and by the way you are an idiot and an asshole and I hate your guts

  • @TheBillybob567 You don't even know me. Besides I don't really care what you think. It will not have any impact on my belief that whale hunting should be legal as long as the whole whale is used for food or other needs.

  • @HOOSIERLOVER your living in a different time my friend. Its not a race thing, its a reality thing

  • @HOOSIERLOVER we can't hunt deer in a wildlife refuge, so why should the japanese be allowed to hunt whales in a whale sanctuary. there is a big difference.

  • @HOOSIERLOVER Because deer are quite numerous, where whales are not. Also, a bullet is a quick, near painless death. A harpoon to the tail to drag you aboard a ship is not. I dislike any form of hunting, but at least deer hunters have a reason.

  • @HOOSIERLOVER lots of people don't like deer killing either. Logically people must either contribute to aquaponic operations for meat or go vegan.

  • I don't know enough about Japanese and Icelandic whaling to comment, but Norwegian whalers don't kill endangered whales, only the non-endangered Minke whales

  • cool song!!

    beautiful, love it

    For the Oceans!

  • WoW. I know my comment is coming a little late since you made this video like 2 years ago, but I just wanted to say that this video is absikutkey beautiful! FABULOUS! GREAT JOB. These creatures are so amazing. I live in cali off the coast, so I would think that to have these whales face anything close to extinction is just a plain tradgedy, let alone heart wrenching, and plain disgusting.

  • I'm from Norway and I think you're full of shit. Oh noes they're killing all the cute animals! Bawwwwwwwww! Go hug a tree. We're all going to be rotting in the ground in 100 years so who cares about a few overgrown sea-cows.

  • @IWillStrangleThatCC Haha, well so now we see that you are all soft in the head. If your folks think like you, you´re all just a bunch of pathetic people... Thank God yours is an insignificant country!

  • @TheSweetD84 Thank God for 9/11.

  • @TheSweetD84 Yeah, belitte us all you want... eco terrorist

  • I'm from Norway, and i totally agree that whaling should be banned!! Rock on Sea Shepherd!!! :D

  • so dame nice it even give me the creeps so nice

  • To me, whales are mammals like any other else and so they should be legal to be hunted like any other else IF THEY ARE NOT ENDANGERED, of course. But it seems like, to many people in the world, whales and especially dolphins are superior animals whose lives are more valuable than those of other animals. Obviously they are more intelligent than e.g. cows, but does this justify a diverse treatment? I mean, look at how our meat is produced. It is UNBELIAVABLE. The animals are treated like SHIT...

  • I think that this is F- up that the Government of Japan is letting them do what they want & they are slaughtering wonderful & beautiful creatures & if i had a ship i would go against the Japanese to STOP the whaling & put the captain behind bars so the whaling will STOP the Japanese says they are doing RESEARCH but i don't believe that they are doing what they say they are slaughtering the whales 4 the meat and they are selling the meat 2 the fish markets SEA SHEPHERDS and STEVE ERWIN stop them

  • its amasing what peaple could do to this animals its really sad enclooding all animals dogs cats etc.

  • 20 basterds are goin to hell

  • Beautiful song, thanks so much for doing this!!!

  • @iwannabelikeyou fucking retard, the shows Austrailian at least know something about the show when posting a retarded comment

  • It so funny how countries like Norway, Iceland and Japan (and recently the Faroe Islands) gets all the blame for whaling (evenn though it's not even a big business in those countries), when Russia, Canada and USA also happens to hunt whales bigtime.

    Gotta love American Propaganda! :D

(oh, and of course I don't support whaling, or killing any animals/humans, don't misunderstand :P)

  • @iwannabelikeyou

When you say that Russia, Canada & the USA hunt whales 'bigtime' you're very much mistaken.

I don't agree with any of their 'hunts' but to put it into perspective, you're looking at numbers killed of:

    USA: approx 50 per year.

    Canada: approx 10 per year.

    Russia: approx 140 per year.

These are by indigenous populations, not commercial factory-ship operations hunting inside a whale sanctuary as Japan does.

    Japan's self-awarded 'quota' was for 1035 whales in 2010

  • @swampcat1 uhm.. excuse my failing English here, but I meant bigtime as in 'big'/rare whales such as the gray whale. While Japanese/Norwegians/Icelanders usually(there are some.. excuses though) hunts for whales such as the minke whale, which is far away from being distinct. You can't compare 140 rare gray whales with 1000 minke whales (allthough none of them really should get killed at all, of course!!)

  • @swampcat1 Really nice and true answer ! We need more people like you

  • @swampcat1 thank you for being one of the few people who actually do their reaserch

  • I don't agree with you when you say Russia, Canada and the USA kill more whales then Japan, Norway and Iceland! USA (Alaska Eskimo Whaling Commission)-43 Bowhead whales Russia- 140 gray whales Canada- Hunt allows the Inuits to kill 1 whale every 2 years Norway- Fluctates between 487-592 (used 540 when added up) Iceland- Quota 30 Japan- 1,000 Norway, Japan and Iceland's total- 1,570 Canada, Russia and the USA's total-184 Now that you see the results think before you type!
  • @StargateSG1Rules uhmm.. did you read my first or second post when you replied? Because I did not say(or at least 'mean' - could be my English causes misunderstandings?) that these countries kill more whales than Japan/Norway etc. But the difference is that the latter hunt NOT ENDANGERED whale species, while Canadat usually targe small populated animals. 140 gray whales could as well be 2000 minke whales (the type that is hunted in Norway). Please don't just read the numbers before you type! :P

  • @iwannabelikeyou gosh, sorry for the grammar/language mistakes :S Well, hopefully it's readable :P I must be tired now xD

  • @iwannabelikeyou

NO NO NO MOST WHALES ARE ENDANGERED SPECIES THAT WHY THE SEA SHEPHERDS ARE TRYING TO STOP THE JAPANESE FROM KILLING THE WHALES

  • @MsDakota89 Uuuhm, you're wrong there. The ones the Japanese (legally) hunts are not endangered at all. Don't get me wrong here, I don't like whaling at all, I'm just following some kinda balance-of-power policy here, because I don't like that a lot of people go around shouting "LETS KILL THE JAPANESE BASTARDS FOR HURTING THE CUTE DOLPHINS" and at the same time enjoy their chicken/cow or whatever on their own plate, as these animals may have suffered even worse than the whales. Such hypocrisy D:

  • @iwannabelikeyou ignorance is bliss.

  • @happilea I bet it is ;) haven't tried it yet :P

  • @iwannabelikeyou Whaling is illegal in the US and has been for years the only whaling done in the US in by 9 indigenous tribes in Alaska, it is heavily managed. Last I checked it was 50 per year but they were considering reducing that number as well. Your comparing that to the 100s that the Japanese whalers slaughter in the southern ocean? Paleese. Be sure brain is in gear before engaging mouth.

  • @happilea I hope you read all my posts before stating your opinions on me.

Yeaaah, lets stop comparing 50 Bowhead whales (listed as "threathened" in lots of countries) to 100 minke whales(not concidered endangered at all), shall we?

All we care about is the numbers of killed whales, not the numbers of killed whales along with the total population with said whales ;) Now, let me hear your reply :)

  • @iwannabelikeyou Number one whales are being slaughtered in a Whale sanctuary by a commercial fishing fleet. All of which having "research" written on the sides of the vessels.

As stated previously the Whaling in this country is heavily regulated with populations playing a big factor in allowable numbers. When these fleets go into the whale sanctuary who is regulating them?

100 minke? your math is a little off my friend. See stargatesg1rules post.

  • @happilea uhm, you know almost all whaling today is "heavily regulated", also in Norway and Japan, right? Of course there are pirate hunters, but I wouldn't count them here.

about 100 minke, I misread your post (you said 100s, didn't you?), but it really doesn't make any difference.

There's 760 000 minke whales and 10.500 bowhead whales in the world, according to IWCoffice(dot)org.

Ahem, I DO think (in this case) a couple of 100-1000 minke whales equals 50 bowhead whales ;)

  • @iwannabelikeyou The quota for bowhead whales is set by the IWC. The quota is divided between 9 indigenious Alaskan tribes as well as Some whaling russian villages. As stated before this is heavily regulated by many agencies here that also report that bowhead whale population is increasing.

Lets me again make my point, I dont believe anyone should be hunting them regardless of any numbers. Certainly not in a whale sanctuary. Dont compare that to commercial whaling.

  • @happilea Well, can't argue with that :P We both hate whaling, that's a great start(for.. world peace?)! In fact, dolphin is my favorite animal. But as stated earlier, I'm kinda attacking some western people's narrow-minded opinions here that it terrible that a small town in Japan is hunting cute whales while it's completely okay that the rest of the world(intended exaggeration) kills and eats cow, chicken and pork. I went to a slaughter house when I was younger, and I can tell u it's not pretty

  • Comment removed

  • @iwannabelikeyou i have an idea why dont all countries just stop killing the whales so they dont become extinct

  • @Gre41896 that would definitely be the best answer for me too! But I think that is difficult to do now. A lot of people make a living on this, and some whaletypes also "needs" to be hunted down in order to stabilize the population... the reality is hard to accept : /

  • @iwannabelikeyou There are no over populated whales yet. That is a myth. When the day comes for population culling to balance the population, by all means Japan, go for it.

Until then stay out of the Whale Sanctuary.

  • @rosepetal108 Do you have any sources that can justify that statement? Sorry if I sound rude or anything (not intended)

  • @iwannabelikeyou Lots of sources mostly controversial and subject to change with new data. IWC says:

However, there has been an appreciable decline in their estimated abundance between the multi-year circumpolar surveys conducted between 1982/83-1988/89 and 1991/92-2003/04. Present estimates of total Antarctic abundance range from around 460,000 – 690,000

  • @iwannabelikeyou america russia and canida USED to whale, paul watson actualy went on several greenpeace campains to stop russian whaling, so please do more research next time

  • @iwannabelikeyou you better not support them

  • @TheBillybob567 uhm, yeah. I don't :-)

  • Beautiful song by Holly! Great video.

  • @best360gamer amen

  • sounds almost like fields of gold by Sting

  • @Bluenova91

It's based on the tune of Eva Cassidy's version of Sting's original song.

The man himself agrees that Eva's version is the best :)

  • such a good song for seashepherd :]

  • Japanese are devils, there hearts is a piece of rock

  • @DXmmuauaua including the ones that are against Whaling?

  • ithanks mate;) i love these song:D<3

  • its a good song<3 i love it:D

  • hello, nice song, can somwone give me the lyrics on this song?

  • @lordiev

Hi, just click 'more info' in the description box at the top right corner of this page. The lyrics are in there :)

  • Comment removed

  • *cough* fields of gold by sting *cough* musta gotten some 'inspiration' from him....

  • @PENNWORKS0001 The music is based on Eva Cassidy's version (it's been discussed in the comments before). Pete - I see you put this in the tags in the info section, but it might be a good idea to mention in the text as well?

  • Just some ruthless people! Poor creature killed for just their own selfish interest, surely more than a murderer! That's why nature is taking its turn now..common people be sensible for the sake of this planet!

  • We can kill Kangaroo, Camel, Shark, Pigs and Bull, but Whale. WTF? Everyon should go Vegan or I don't care what they say. Hypocrites.

  • 37x3x3x2

Your countrymen are at this very moment down in the Southern Ocean Whale Sanctuary killing whales!

To protest and try to prevent that is not at all hypocritical, it's right and honourable.

  • So, if whales are living around Japanese sea, we can kill them? You will say NO. This very moment many animals are being killed for the some kind of profit. And you don't care them but whales.

From my point of view, there is no sanctuary. The issue is men should stop killing animals for any reason or not.

  • I wouldn't be in favour of Japan killing whales anywhere but Sea Shepherd has stated many times that they would not take their vessels to protest if Japan kept its whaling inside its own territorial waters.

What do you mean 'from my point of view there is no sanctuary'? It was established by the IWC in 1994.

You know nothing of whether I care for other animals.

  • theres a issue of how they kill the whale aswell as everything else, useing millitary grade weapons and bleeding them out is unethical....killing whales under the unbrella of "scientific reserch" when very very limited actual reserch has been done..and then illegal whaleing in non japaneese waters..

so, so far its unethical, based on false means and illegal. The rest of the world understands why cant you?

  • @37x3x3x2

Sea Shepherd protects sharks, they also only serve vegan meals on the ships.

also whales are the most intelligent animal on earth, they havent made computers and cars because they have fins, and no fingers, a whales brain is massive, and have been known to save humans lives(seriously, there are stories of them carrying stranded surfers to shore)

  • @37x3x3x2

Sharks are protected as well...and many arn't so endangered.

As for the others, they live in our ecosystem so eating them makes sense since we are omnivores.

Whales, sharks, crustacea etc all live in an ecosystem outside ours and so we shouldn't be tampering with it the way we do. We've almost ended the whales once and a few other species of oceanic animals are gone now because of us. There's no need to kill more.

  • i hate japan

  • fuck fuck fucking japan whalling fleets

  • those moneysucking motherfuckers. What they need is a couple shots in the head dudes. i wouldnt let these wailing millers get away alive, but hail to the sea shepherds and theyre lovely captain and all the good crew, wisch i could join, im from sweden and i have sent emails to seashepherds but i got no answer, anyone knows how to get involved? Regards Oliver Peterson

  • Ofcourse you didn't get an answer, did you believe that everybody who sent an e-mail to seashepherds would become involved and told what to do and how etc, just like that? You can't just jump in, work your way there by doing what you can for the whales, dolphins and sharks where you live, spread information. That's major you know. Who would want a swedish 18 year old boy they've heard of on their ship? Even if you got 17 years of experience it still sounds pretty dumb.

    Inget illa menat.

  • They have never heard of*

  • I come back often to listen to your beautiful words in this song :)

    5 more *****

    I hope you are well!

    Hollyxx

  • Hi Holly!

And I come back to listen to your beautiful voice :)

Anyone reading this - you MUST check out Holly's other videos. When she's an international recording star you'll be able to say 'Yeah, well, I was into her music on YouTube before she was even signed' :)

  • Haha! Thankyou :)

I met Eva's brother, Dan, a few weeks ago. He is lovely and so like her.

    Hollyxx

  • Im norwegian, but i am disgusted of this whaling going on, i hope the Sea Sheperds will stop it.

    in Paul Watson i trust!

  • swampcat1, do Sea Shepherds know about this song? Have you tried to show it to them?

  • Lusiplushy94,

Captain Paul Watson left a nice comment on this a year ago but I've no way of if it was really him.

  • I asked because I can try to show it to some guys from the crew, but I need a permission from you to do that.

  • Hi, by all means feel free to show the crew.

Please give them all my best regards,

I'll be following Operation Waltzing Matilda with interest once they set out in December.

  • im going to cry!=]

  • The Sea Shepherd's tell them how we all feel but the whaler's don't listen...

    Great Song!

  • or it is based on the eva cassidy 's fields of gold

  • this song is based on the (field of gold by sting) which is also a very nice song .

  • why do those bloody japanesse kill these beautiful animals. i do hope that these sea sepherds stop the killing

  • I dont know what capital means.. but our city is Reikjavík.. and here's some icelandic ! Halló ég heiti Anton og ég borða hvali :D

  • 'capital' is a reference to the collapse of your country's banking system.

    It's a joke. Like you.

  • Here's another one for you...

    Q. What job sector has been worst hit by the credit crunch?

    A. Icelandic bank robbers.

  • Im from iceland and i had a vhale soup yesterday! it tasted delicious.. their just like fish just BETTER! you guys should really taste vhale meat its really good!

  • You really are from Iceland aren't you!

I feel sorry for you being so ignorant a the age of 29 but I guess you can't help it.

Hey - a trivia question for you....

Q: What's the capital of Iceland?

    A: About 30 pence!

  • Clear example for a person, who submits only to his/her primary instincts... Please, don't tell me that people are most sensible creatures any more!

  • Thats beautiful! you have an amazing voice!=))

  • The song is so slow and the lyrics are like the Sea Shepherds are asking the whalers to stop killing whales... and that's not true. I think this song is more appropriate for some kind of protest organisation than for Sea Shepherd. They're not asking the whalers to stop - they're trying to stop them, no matter they want or no. I think a faster and a kind of "heavy" song will be more appropriate.

Anyway, well done. I'm glad to know that there are people, who really care about this problem. :)

  • THANK YOU!!!!! This is such an amazing tribute to SAVE THE WHALES! You have a Beautiful voice =)

Support Sea Shepherd...The ONLY Pirates of Compassion saving whales from each year in the Southern Antarctic Whale Sanctuary!!!!

Support Sea Shepherd's upcoming ^th voyage to save whales in the Artic, "Waltzing Matilda" . Departing Dec. 7th. 2009!!!!!!!!!

  • Very nice, i'll link this on the SSCS forums.

  • omg ive just relized! the music is sting! wow fields of gold ..but like really slowed down and a different beat

  • Actually, it's based on Eva Cassidy's version of Fields of Gold. I prefer it and even Sting himself says its better than the original.

Have a listen. Sadly she's no longer with us but there are some recordings on here.

  • I love this song and this video. My hope goes out to the SSCS, we need to leave the oceans alone.

  • This video is beautiful!!!!! 10 stars!

  • but they are japanesse and probably u love the meat, not the whales :p ok!.

    save the whales!!! <3

  • save the whales save the whales save the whales save the whales save the whalessave the whales save the whales save the whales save the whales save the whalessave the whales save the whales save the whales save the whales save the whalessave the whales save the whales save the whales save the whales save the whalessave the whales save the whales save the whales save the whales save the whalessave the whales save the whales save the whales save the whales !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • ok lay off the japanese please its the whalers not the race!!!! so make sure you shoot the target and not nuke the innocents if you get what im saying? hate whalers not japanese people...im part japanese and love whales so dont discriminate ok

  • WereWolf, thank you for your comment.

As I say in the lyrics, I've nothing against the Japanese people, just the Yakuza controlled whaling industry that hides behind the false banner of 'scientific research. whilst carrying out their illegal commercial whaling operation inside the Southern Ocean Whale Sanctuary!

  • u are right. there is a japanese woman on the Steve Irwin. she is an example of a pure hearted japanese person.

  • Ya you are right im not japanese but remember in the last few seasons there was that japanese lady that was on the crew but never showed her face

  • bunch of douchey hippie fucks.

  • I think you may be thinking of Greenpeace there, not Sea Shepherd :)

  • i cant believe it japanesejust kill whales !!!!! its good there sea shepherd to protec the whales ,hope you luck sea shepherds!!!

  • enough whale blood has been shed. it's time to take action against these mother fucking japs. i am proud to fight for these whales

  • whale wars you are my heroes

  • awesome

  • As lame as it sounds, this song gives me chills.

By the way, is this the song from the advertisement for the Whale Wars show they show on television sometimes? I honestly can't figure it out.

  • for season two? no

  • So beautiful :o(

  • For The Whale Wars!

    Soft and Tender Song.. Beautiful

    Thankyou..

  • Japs will call eating any animal a delicacy and say it gives them some sort of therapeutic boost. So they fuel the killing of wild whales, bears, seals, any about every animal for their sad consumption. They are illegally harvesting wild whale meat for Jap consumption. It's all about the Yen not RESEARCH.

  • thats right men

  • the tune sounds like fields of gold by sting.

    but its an amazing song!

    SAVE THE WHALES!

    and everyother animal ^_^

  • im a big fan of whale wars that song is AMAZING holly is a great singer!

  • Holly is Amazing as are you. Hit me in the heart like a harpoon. Left me crying. Videos like this always give me a shock, like I'm just waking up. Please accept my friend request. :')

  • innocence of bigger size beings so helplessly fighting to survive killing them by us, so called humans of our times whilst they've gone thru ages of living untouched

  • what do those sheaperd guys do?

  • koalabear555- go fuck yourself shame on you. You should be harpooned as well, then we'll see how you like it.

    Protect the whales

  • you should be harponed like those poor whales are, then we'll see how you feel about this. Sea Shepherd for life!

  • My English is terrible but I hope you understand me :-)

  • Your English is fine.

    Thank you for your comment

    Swampcat1

  • When the whales given up to singing the world been finished

  • Why don't you eat your family so that they become endangered. Good for everyone! Yummmmmy!

  • Thank you so much for creating the video - musically it is very touching. We all have to walk forward nowon the path of defending these incredible members of our animal kingdom. Thank you again

  • Claudia, I cried and I think about them and I pray. I love the whales. Why, please tell me, are people so terribly mean. My heart and spirit is with them. I am soooo sorry.

    Jan

  • fields of gold tune ?

  • Yes :)

And beautiful words by swampcat1 :)

  • Fantastic this is. Hit me right in the heart, in two places. It time for an end to whale hunting. That kid is something else. And the lyrics are haunting. I think I may have run out of superlatives, jessedora. Thanks for sharing this with me. I have seen whales in the Labrador Sea, it was the high point of the trip. Take care. And I am slowly getting used to them. :D

  • beautiful video these gentle giants need our pprotection

  • I am so sorry they are permitted to slaughter these wonderful creatures, this is one outstanding vid, great job all! refer to your friends, wake them up to this horror, beg them to stand with you against this brutality.

  • ... I am not proud of being a Norwegian, when I read that our nations is 'whale-killers'. Aw. ;_; Beautiful video. Really. It looks like the whale is dancing ont the surface. ^^

  • Obviously, not everyone in your country supports this slaughter, you are a shining example of compassion. Be proud of who you are as an activist and be proud of your humanity. All countries do their dirty deeds against animals, so I don't consider myself part of any country, but I am part of a group of people dedicated to animal rights.

    xo

  • Aw. Thanks for those amazing words. I know, not LynxShark, but it's just a new account. x3 And again, thanks. <:'3

  • anyone who yanks a whale onto a factory ship is a bag of hog snot!!

  • nicee!

Save the giants of the deep

Save the giants of the deep

Save the giants of the deep

    go on Sea Shepherd!

    (=

  • Holly has the most beautiful voice in the world IMHO! Such a beautiful video!

  • This is a beautiful video... the song has a great message. These graceful and beautiful animals deserve to be fiercely protected. We must take a stand for the giants of the deep.

    peace and love

  • oh Victoria i cant cry anymore today.. dam videos.. lol

What a beautiful beautiful song for a subject that effects these poor defenseless creatures.. Yes save the giants of the deep..A lovely posting.. with a strong message to protect protect protect. :)

  • this isn't what i want to do with my life but i think it will be a great experience why not while im young you know i want to go in marine biolgy but i think it would be an awsome experience but hnak you for your feed back!

  • I'd think twice about putting yourself in a hostile environment performing what is technically defined by international law as piracy. The S.S. has no mandate to do what they're doing as is evidenced by the fact that the Aussie authorities just boarded their boat and confiscated the tapes highlighting their illegal activities.

  • they do have a mandate, the U.N. world charter for nature. and they austrailian police handed back the tapes

  • go for it dude, hope to see you on whale wars sometime :)

  • As much as the S.S. are a bunch of nuts, I'll admit this is a good song.

  • why does this vid mostly show humpbacks? wouldn't it make more sense to show fins and minkes?

  • Save the giants of the deep!

  • wow i luv this song!!! SAVE THE WHALES!!!

  • grazie Giorgio, è bellissimo questo video, dolcissimo e la canzone poi............
