@TheCheesecar if its ur 1st bike u couldnt handle the 250f thats a given!! if ur used to power and feel ul be ok i say go for it but if its ur 1st bike u shud get a 125! much easier to control and if u get used to the power which u would u could handle a 250f! it has alot more take off power and torgue which the 125 has very low power trust me on this lol i asked the same question month or 2 back ur a good height for the bike aswell which is good ul feel very comfortable :)

@raptor350lover Yes depending on condition, check compression. Go through all the gears, and make sure the clutch isn't slipping. That's the main components IMO but secondly, you should check all round on the brakes, bearing, and suspension. The question for you would be who's is in the best shape.

A 450F will be alot more of a handfull than a CBR600 so your comment about speed is irrelevant... alot less maintainance on a 450F than a 250F as you dont need to ring its neck and wont be doing valve clearances nearly as often. On the other hand it will get you into trouble alot quicker. Ger a 250f or 2smoker.

I started off on a Kawasaki KX65 big wheel have ridden a few yz85's, a cbr600rr and a vtr250, I'm looking to trade in my VTR250 road bike for a motocross bike, I want a yz450f because im about 6'1' and have wanted more power out of every bike i have ridden but i dont want to bite off more than i can chew, will a 450 just be too big to gain skills on? I want to eventually thrashing the crap outta it, trail and track.
