This show was gold up until this episode. The didn't just jump the shark, they fucked it up the ass.
Season 4 intro is TERRIBLE. They thought they could keep a few characters and people would keep watching if the soul of the show was gone. Fuck FOX, man. They just keep fucking up as the years go by.
people mac was supposed to get killed. he was supposed to fill in plot holes left by ed while they worked on a new contract. there are several episodes where ed is gone for at least 35-40 minutes of the show in season 3. and look at mac: how many times did he f up a sting, disobey orders and endanger himself, or nearly get killed? they created mac's character to live only one season hoping ed would have resolved his contract issues for S4
I remember watching this episode when I was 16 and I was shocked how Eddie and Tommy died especially Eddie. Me and my friends were talking about this next day at school. And also I hope that Michael Delorenzo's character would come back from the dead as I watch the fourth season and then when Nina reflected her memories of Eddie that was when reality set for me and said FU to fourth season.
This was close to the WB/UPN merger to the CW. NYU must've seen the writing on the wall and wanted to go out with a bang! We lost so many classic shows because of that merger. Now, we have nothing!
The blonde woman in this episode is a cold mutha. I can respect the game in her. She not too bright at certain points. But the same can be said for most wanna be "Gs". She's a street corner thug, wanting to be a board room gangster.
Mac was cool, especially the episode when he got his fathers killer murdered in that smart ass plan he hatched. I hated how they decided to kill him and eddie in the same episode, this show had 7 to 8 season potential and they manage to virtually kill that by the end of the 3rd season which is a damn shame.
i kinda hate this episode to its cold how they killed them even tho eddie got blown up he died instandtly and didnt see it coming so he didnt suffer really but mac saw it commin even tho he didnt seem scared he still saw it comin which is cold as ice
I was very disappointed that McNamara and Torres were killed in this episode. This was a sign that TV networks were going down the drain. Now, with these reality shows that are very annoying. I don't even watch TV like I use to in the 90s anymore.
tommy should have gotten his shott. i know eddie had to get off the show because of things, but Mac was just now starting, and i have no clue why they killed him off in a season. this sucks. Tommy was good.
