Let me explain what jaysis means. you've processed it with the input gain too high, which results in clipping (distortion). This is the classic sound of major clipping!!

Ps. I've noticed you have the same distortion sound on your other videos of other artists too. So maybe it isn't 'what it is'.

Look, I've ALREADY addressed this problem. This is, quite simply, the sound present on the original file. Maybe you can fix it. I don't have the resources.

Thats fine, much better than 'it is what it is'. I know you've uploaded another one, and the sound unfortunately didn't get rid of the distortion and it wouldn't would it if it is in the original file. Congrats on uploading wonderful content, that in itself magnifies the problem. But i have to say, all your other videos have the same sound, so it begs the question that its the orignal file. Very Good content anyway :-)

I still think this is one of his most underrated songs, I could put a million things about Ryan Adams but I think it's all been said before - if you "get" it you will forever.......there is just something that makes you feel right there in the middle of his songs every single time, he is a truly unique man

This whole performance is kind of sloppy in my opinion. I'm a HUGE fan but this whole set is a bit off. I love the format and the set performed but I think it could have been better rehearsed. The timing wasn't good between the two in this and other songs from this set. They need a do-over. 3 stars.

I think that there's a big difference between "sloppy" or "off", and "loose". I think that this performances is "loose" and this typifies many of RATC's performances. If they were anything else, then we wouldn't find them so mesmerizing. I respect your op, but this IS Ryan, nothing more nothing less.

I agree there's a big difference between sloppy and loose. This one is sloppy at the beginning but better as they go. I think most live performances are better than studio cut because of the loose sound but this is not that. They just missed it in the first quarter of the song. As a guitar player myself I'm familiar with playing loose versus being off rhythm. They are definitely off at the start. Sometimes you just have to play through it which they did.

From what I can gather he had a sort of religious upbringing in a way, I believe. But I'd say he's more spiritual than religious. But I really have no clue, it's just what I've picked up from interviews and such.
