After 2005, the shows they added just really plummeted the whole thing. Ben ten alien force? Yu Gi Oh GX? Bakugan? Old Yu gi Oh was a lot better than the GX. I miss those old anime shows. I actually have a ton of nostalgic feeling for it. And I never realized it until so much later. :(
I feel like CN has potential still but after the adventure time crazy they tried to make some cheap fast clones of it like regular show and that mountain fort awesome show. regular show was decent but then the rest of the AT clones are bad. I think they gotta start cycling the cartoons from the 90's and before. Dexters lab, johnny bravo, the jestsons, the flintsones. Only problem is kids today are getting brought up on bad cartoons to be honest it might not appeal to kids.

Toonami was teaching kids about anger, courage, experience, and indivisuality. @RACKEMDADDY I'm usually one of those people who support a great series that ends on it's highest and cancelled so it still stays great. However, Toonami was a station that was constantly changing, it was always evolving. Compare it to when it came out in 1999 to it's final year, they are way different from each other. Toonami was smart enough to keep changing and make it fresh with new shows. The series needs to be brought back, not just for our generation but for future gnerations

I'm guilty. I watched the shit out of Naruto and ignored every other show. I loved IGPX and Zatch Bell. I hated everything else. Remember the Naruto New Years Day Marathon? That was amazing. But, then of course the fillers came and I said wtf and stopped watching all together just casually tuning in to see if they ended. Then bullshit movies filled Toonami and I ignored those. But,why can't they bring Toonami back? it has to be better than the shit they're showing now on Saturday right?
Toonami died because too many parents were being stupid about it. There's a reason it was aired later in the day, and that's because it was aimed at older audiences. At that time of day the censors were more lenient, and even later in the night is when the uncut stuff was aired. I've seen the difference between standard Toonami and Uncut, and if you were letting your kids stay up that late to begin with you should reconsider being a parent. When I was that young, it was bed by 8, no exceptions.

@sleepy7351 yes it is kinda of said because its a horrible usage in there. in anime's the usage of it was decent and it fit the situation not just thrown out there for no reason. its pretty ridiculous. and doing what adventure time does and just saying weirdo phrases that make no sense isnt any better ( sorry fans of these shows) i just think toonami aftermath and neo toonami help and are good sources for nostalgia to. so check them out old toonami fans. specially neo

@TheUnveil That might be true but Toonami was somewhat "kid friendly" more then shows that Cartoon Network is showing nowadays. Toonami was teaching kids about anger, courage, experience, and indivisuality. For example, the new show Johnny Test, I saw my little cousin watch it, and this one guy wanted to get rid of all the kids or something, and Johnny would be disobedient to his elders. I believe that isn't kid friendly when instead of teaching good things, their teaching disobedience.

@RACKEMDADDY I'm usually one of those people who support a great series that ends on it's highest and cancelled so it still stays great. However, Toonami was a station that was constantly changing, it was always evolving. Compare it to when it came out in 1999 to it's final year, they are way different from each other. Toonami was smart enough to keep changing and make it fresh with new shows. The series needs to be brought back, not just for our generation but for future gnerations

I'm guilty. I watched the shit out of Naruto and ignored every other show. I loved IGPX and Zatch Bell. I hated everything else. Remember the Naruto New Years Day Marathon? That was amazing. But, then of course the fillers came and I said wtf and stopped watching all together just casually tuning in to see if they ended. Then bullshit movies filled Toonami and I ignored those. But,why can't they bring Toonami back? it has to be better than the shit they're showing now on Saturday right?

Toonami died because too many parents were being stupid about it. There's a reason it was aired later in the day, and that's because it was aimed at older audiences. At that time of day the censors were more lenient, and even later in the night is when the uncut stuff was aired. I've seen the difference between standard Toonami and Uncut, and if you were letting your kids stay up that late to begin with you should reconsider being a parent. When I was that young, it was bed by 8, no exceptions.

@CoolKid030 Toonami was always mostly anime shows. That had nothing to do with it. There was usually only one show that was western animation (like Justice League or Jonny Quest) in the whole lineup. And then Tonami always showed the edited versions, so that had nothing to do with it either.
