Thanks for the questions GlobalAnanda. I'm not too sure of the answers, but the coincidence of changes in the North Atlantic Oscillation (the pressure gradient in the North Atlantic bringing cold weather to Europe) and ENSO (El Nino-Southern Oscillation) in the Pacific is not unheard-of in history. What's more the climatic teleconnections mean that Africa and Asia can also be affected, such as floods in Sri Lanka. The global thermohaline conveyor is slightly different, although connected.

How does this play in with the Thermohaline conveyor belts movement of H2O and why the planets wild Storms (snow or otherwise) have been happening since Nov 2010?In regards to the SOI? NPO?NAO?Thermohaline conveyor belt??? severe weather??? Brisbane Qld floods, East coast of USA blizzards, UK freeze?
