  • OH you poor children. I was there

  • The Offramp was the coolest. Anyone remember Hash after the Bash?

  • Nice, would have loved to have been there :) This is one of my favorite Temple of the Dog songs. Hunger Strike is so good for the Chris/Eddie vocals but this one just always got to me. Can I be saved? ;)

  • Love Chris' intro that comes back as a theme...

Please play this with Kim and Ben!

    Love Matt Cameron.

  • Amazing! Can't believe you found it. Thanks!

  • the greatest album i ever heard!

  • This CD rules I bought a few years ago when I was 14. I listen to that CD so much it completely destoried All NIght Thing,

  • mine too!

  • me too, me too!!!! except not "next to hunger strike". this is my favorite!! thanks fluttergirl1 for posting!

  • this song is about the corruption the church

and how people think they can by there way into heaven

  • This footage was recorded @ The Off Ramp in Seattle ,Wa. I was there...

  • I was there as well...

What an incredible time in music...

    "Hash After The Bash"...

  • @TakeyourPicProductio You lucky, lucky shmuck!!!! I wish I could have been there.

  • i thought vedder sang the first part..

  • he does, in the album...

  • No he doesn't. It's Chris Cornell. They have very similar voices in the low range. Both beautiful sounding. But yea, Chris can sound like Eddie when he wants. His voice is the shit. So smooth.

  • Not really. Similar voices that is. Well I guess it depends on who is listening.

  • Eddie Vedder does background vocals on "Pushin Forward Back" "Your Savior" and "Four Walled World" and of course lead vocals on "Hunger Strike"

Ed aint nowhere in this song

  • What a tribute.

  • from one of the best albums ever recorded

  • Amen. I still break this one out from time to time.

  • I couldn't agree more. Easily one of the best rock albums made. I play along to this all the time. A classic!

  • wooden jesus is an amazing song..

  • someone tell me what this song is about

  • are you serious?

  • It's based around getting a record contract and the pressures, dangers and pitfalls there of.

  • yeah, I don't really know what this song's about, too..

    So someone, help? (:

"and I pray.. Can I be saved? I spent all my money on a future grave"

  • those particular lyrics sound like sombody dealing with drug addiction, but who knows. for fuck sakes sombody ask chris already! haha

  • "I didn't know it was the holy land but I believed from the minute the check left my hand..." "coat hanger halos that don't come cheap from television shepards w/ living room sheep and I pray. can I be saved? spend all my money on a future grave Oh, wooden Jesus I'll cut you in, on 20% of my future sins." He's mocking, being sarcastic. like you have to PAY to get into heaven. Same thing Jesus said about the Temple (hmmm, ...8) Blessings & Peace
  • It's about the hypocrisy of organized religion.

    specifically, televangelists

think when it was written, 1990

    Jim Baker, Jimmy Swaggart,

    Jerry Falwell etc.

the 'moral majority' (what an oxyMORON)

  • there was allot of diverse music in the 80's (Industrial,Deathrock,Dark Wave Grunge,Rockabilly,Alternative Metal,Punk,Emo Hardcore etc.)but none of it was picked up by the mainstream

  • let's start a revolution of seattle 90's rock!!!!!

  • Yeah!

    I'm up for that bollocks43

  • I love this record, Wodden Jesus is one of the cleverest drum grooves ever played in my opinion. Matt, you are a drumming God!

  • People never appreciate great music when it is made. There is always a huge divide between corporate music, and actual artists/fans. Who knows who is being drowned out by Britney and Toby Keith right now?

  • the 90's era will come back... ahh the 90's grunge, metal it was great.

  • i was 9 months

  • lol! i was 13 months old

  • hahah i wasn't even born yet

  • temple of the dog: best album ever

  • OMFG, fluttergirl1, if your a hot babe, marry me... U seem to post the greatest video's, i cant believe I'm watching the ONLY temple of the dog live video's,as this was the only live concert they did... just... just... fuck yes

  • Jesus christ!!! 16 years ago.. I was 12.. I wish music was like this today..

  • I was just 7, didn't even know anything about music

in my opinion these guys made a huge difference in music history.

Guys, I downloaded the footage from Emule, u can easily find it there

  • the whole Seattle music scene changed popular music. it gave rock and rock hair bands a long needed enema! the 80,s sucked for rock music!

  • The 80s did not suck for music.

The 80s was the most wonderful and diverse era of music we're likely to ever see.

Most of the grunge bands were bands that formed and played most of their career in the 80s, Soundgarden being one of those bands.

  • diversve? hair bands? get a grip why not go back and listen to such shit as flock of seagulls or how about AH HA'S take me on. or how about guns and roses the poor mans rolling stones!

  • @fluttergirl1 ...walk in the shoes of somebody else.... i also was 7 at the time but very much into music jammin to metallica n getting in trouble at school for bringing use your illusion 2 to school..... hahahaha then i heard badmotorfinger and i've been hooked since. there are very few bands out there today that have actually made some quality music.... thats sad..

  • @fluttergirl1 guys i wasnt even born. i love temple of the dog
