but i have my doubts now whether i have enough room to work....cheers...paul

  • I hate to say this, but i much prefer the colour of your mg to ours, ours is that blaze red orange

  • @sootyferrari65 Hi – Yes a lot of people like the colour I have chosen, I have had the car re-sprayed and the colour is not a true MG Green. It’s called British Leyland Green. It’s coming alaong now. Just put on all the lights to the body.

  • Damn, that's a tight fit there mate.

  • Hi Brandon.

Yes to walk past the eides of the car I have to walk sideways like a Crab. I have not been able to move the Mg for over a year. (no engine) Now I have rebuilt the Engine / Gearbox, hpoe within the next 3 weeks will start the MG up. Fingers crossed ?

  • Looking good Terry, hope it's all going well! I have a red '76 GT myself and I love it.

  • just started my restoration on a 1972 roadster its complety striped getting painted next month in red

  • Hi ringostar19 Got the car back now from the paint shop, looks beautiful. 2 years of hard graft has now paid off. Will soon have to upload another Video Blog soon. Is your car on you tube? if not would like to see it, red a nice colour that you have chosen. I have stuck with Green, but the true name for the colour I have chosen for my car is Leyland Dark Green. Its in between Racing Green & Mallard Green.

    Good luck.

    Terry.

  • thanks for the reply Terry no ive not put the car on youtube yet hoping to get the car done for the summer, i was between red and green both really nice.

  • Well done Terry, I love to see these beautiful MGs on our roads, hope to get one myself after I have saved a few quid.Love the sound and looks.

  • Thanks for your comments; I have now completely striped the car down to its basic shell. The Engine and Gear Box I have removed. Just got to do a little tiding up (welding) in the Engine Bay left to do, then to shop around for quotes to get the Mg re-sprayed.

    Terry

  • What colour are you thinking of? I would do it something different, silver bodywork with beige leather trim would look cool.

  • Hi -- I have decided to go with British Racing Green for the re-spray, with all black interior. Will also upload another Video Blog soon.

    Terry.

  • British racing green or dark highland green would look great,I would just add a brown or cream leather interior trim. Look forward to seeing the completed car.
