I wish another company would develop a game similar to M&B but with more capabilities.. like roleplay because most of the mods just dont cut it.. and the community isnt big enough..

theres few servers and they're all modded.. and most of the mods suck..

your weapon is not a pike dude :P its a hellabard (half spear half axe) you are not hitting guy with a pike. you only stabb him.

Why pikemen are good?

Well... they're actually not that good unless you download the mods that add a button for bracing it on the ground.

Works wonders on Swadian Knights... Hold Position and every single spear-, pike- and lancewielding character in your party braces...

And it becomes a wall of death against cavalry.

You can pretty much do the same with any long range two-handed weapon. There are swords with 130 range... :) That is a massacare you can do with it.

After a long battle, all your hands, armour, weapon are covered with blood...

there is the beta...yu ca download it if you erch on gogle: Mount & blade beta downlod.

In the beta, you can arriv at level 7 or 8..if you buy the license you can continue.. there are some craks...

You can manage as a foot soldier, Check out some of my videos. This guys in heavy armor, and on foot. I play a light fighter on foot, and I do just fine. Full damage etc etc as well.

He's only attacking a Vaegir caravan as well in this video, so these aren't real enemies. Just wimps. One of my videos if 80ish vs 200+ .. Still, I do love a good pikemen :)

this game is so freaking awesome.  It starts out extremely hard though if you try to be just a damn merchant :p

Well there is your problem. You start out by joining a faction, winning their favour. Waiting until you lose your town because the enemy captures the castle and then you assault a city centre type place (Eg Suno) then you get 2000ish rent every few days :D

qith pikeman you should be able to crouch down with the pike and let the horse come to you and when the horse hits the pike...well you know what happens....

the only thing that m&b lacks is being able to hit 2 people at once. you can hit a horse and its jockey/rider w/e, but you cant swing and hit 2 or more enemies which is quite annoying, with long reaching weapons etc.

but that is actualy quite realistic , since when hit the first one , the pike/ or w/e cant go forwards, you cant exactly cut them like butter :D

sry for the double post nut I forgot to say that I completely destroyed the whole vaegir nation and took all of the land and it belongs to swadia, the I betrayed the Queen of Swadia(its a queen in the mod) and helped her claiment Princess Isolla of Suno take the whole thing back all in 2 daYS(yesterday and the day before)

I'm using cavalry equipment: heavy charger horse, masterwork bastard sword, reinforced silver shield, metal armor, gauntlets and that famous helmet with horns..etc..when u dive equipped like this into an enemy crowd together with your 100+ mercenary cavalry and knights, no opponents stays alive and on their feet :D

Hmm, looks very much like cheats man, im not saying but its extremeley easy to cheat on mount & blade. You can for instance change your export character file so you can be at the highest lvl possibole, you can inflict as much damage you want and you can get as much money you want. It's easy, just ask me and ill tell you.

im playng normal mod and in a hunter i shot arows an 10.0 12.6-8.40 dyfyculty the max dyfyculty was 26.80 ;) im a good hunter , i avoid melle mi wapons are (war bow, 100 arows +4dmg,100 arows +4dmg, tho wanded sord)lvl 50, the pike man is good you are playng good but you are plaing on easy no personal filings(the rithing tight be rong because im from other nation)

Its a type of poleaxe called a halbred. It is basicly a pike with an axe head on it

sorry, but your pike looks more like a halberd (or however you spell it) which is basicly a pike but with an axe on the end, a bit like the bill (also a weapon). Halberds are like pikes as they can be used as the usual cavalry stabbing weapon, but can also cut a man in half when swung.
