  • great video and btw NO NO NO we did not learn anything from the 1918 flu as we continue evey year to exclude flu shots for the poor.money money money..we should make this free for all people . Just when will we learn??????

  • I saw this at school and the enfluenza song scared me

  • @clovenrick At least it keeps you from touching your mouth.

  • That's what it's going to take to balance the federal budget. Medicare costs < 87%!

  • @Sheikhnot funny someday you will be old too

    Taqiyyameister

  • It would have been excellent if it were not for the distracting music in the background.

  • It took my grandmother in November of 1918. I won't forget!

  • What a horrible time. I have roamed through the sections of cemeteries where so many died on 1918.

  • You made a great video, my science teacher used this as an example!(:

  • My grandpa fought in WWI he did not get the Spanish flu but came home with tuberculosis. My dad was born in Dec 1918 in the fever of the epidemic. He was born in a hospital hallway , the hospital was riddled with dying people. He made it into the world where families were quarentined . What a way to enter the world his first sight was corridors of dying people. This was a horrendence thing to go through. Thanks for your historical effort Heather!

  • Good video, but why the really irritating music in the background?

  • I see the dates in cemetarys all over indiana. I know this was posted over a year ago but thanks for filling me in on history.

  • :s whats that song name?

  • nice job!!!

  • Excellent Job, I had to do a presentation about pandemics a few years ago and of course, a large part of it was devoted to the 1918 "Spanish flu". It still surprises me to how few people even know about this most terrible catastrophe in human history.

  • This is too important to be forgotten.

  • It's like old saying:"I can't believe something so small could create something so big".

  • That's a creepy song.

  • very well done heather! amazing! -marissa, frederic
