I'm snowed under with work deadlines right now- why I haven't been on YT much at all- but I plan to really sit down and start watching these after the 15th of this month. I've watched half, for the first round of watching, but i have a system I'm using to judge for 6 different points in each vid, so I'll need to watch each one several times. :)

I also meant to say...harrypfanmcc's video/entry to the David Garrett cover of this song is AMAZING. lol- yeah, it would be hard to make Saw work with love/ fairy tale theme- never saw it because I'm not into psycho-horror- just heard about it... I don't watch Supernatural (sorry). The little I did see I didn't like- too intense on the horror, so if you choose to do that you might want to keep that in mind...but no Saw. lol

They can be from different fandoms, and can be multi-fandom- I've even accepted a trailer. As long as it fits all rules in my video and description, I'll take it. :)

If it fits theme of love and fantasy- then it will work for contest. Thanks for entering! :) And yes, less strain on the eyes sounds great! Too many rapid bright flashes very close in succession tends to make my eyes hurt and sometimes give me a headache (my day job is on the computer so I spend a lot of time on it is why, I think). Two versions are fine- since you're allowed to enter up to 5 videos. :)

how do u put clips of a movie onto a movie/ video maker?

Hi! :) First rip your DVD with something like Magic DVD ripper and save it to a place you'll remember on your hard drive. Once it's done, go to your video editing program and import the video clip or clips (however many it made) into your library or whatever your program has. This should be under "import video" or something like that. What video editing program do you use?

A lot will depend on how many people submit vids in each program category (WMM and Sony Vegas, etc) - not the amount of vids (since a person can only win once, because of the prizes) - so be sure and spread the word! :) The contest will be open for quite a while yet, to give everyone a chance who wants to enter time, especially if they're making it new...

Answering both questions here: The Peter Pan vid would work- I never saw the film, but I know the story well enough I think.

Actually, I did mean romantic love- or "couple love" between a man/woman- though it can be jealous (triangles) unrequited, tragic, etc. In other words, it doesn't have to be all clouds and roses. ;-)

I've seen ST, so I'll take it- but please keep in mind what I said about blood/gore. Keep vids G- PG rated. A little is okay, (i.e. vamp ones where they bite and a little trickles out)- but when it's overdone and is everywhere, it turns my stomach. (lol- sorry. Yeah, I'm such a wimp)
